This video was was filmed before everyone started speeding up their boxing film, to appear faster. Valero hands were super quick, and he had 100% control over his body & balance. Only a small percentage of can fighters move their hands and body this fluidly.

Urbano Antillon looked like he was just in the ring to be used as target practice, standing right in front of Valero and not using the left jab nearly enough! That was the real difference in the match, Valero was dictating the pace of the sparring session with the jab and setting up the follow up right hand's and left hooks with nothing coming back from Antillon. Perhaps it was a sparring session where Antillon was trying to just work defense?
Michael Coppola maybe it was to work his defence. He stayed in the corner a lot and looked focused on blocking or at least trying to block.
Valero's workrate and punchout are very rare for that division. He was a psychopathic freak in the ring. All offense. Crude.

y otra cosa cosa valero tambien esta a otro nivel ahora eso inclina la balanza a favor de valero. cuando valero fue hacer sparring con de la hoya no lo dejaron casi pelear porque estaba maltratando mucho a oscar.. valero aparentemente es un peleador confiado con una defensa mala pero pero no es asi , lo que hace es dar algo algo de confianza al oponente para el poder soltar la mano del ko , sera derecha o izquierda. saludos

Con gusto, solo que estara dificil que un contrincate que cubra tu idea de boxeador "de categoria" tenga una pelea en Venezuela ya que ahi es donde lo estan limitando a pelear. Cuando un boxeador que sea conosido por todos los villamelones que no saben nada de boxeo decida boxear contra Valero va a estar dificil ya que los de "categoria" quieren pelear en estados unidos.

antillon es muy buen boxeador pero para enfrentar a edwin no esta preparado por eso decidio pasar de la cmb a la amb.. tengo otra pelea de valero en sparring con antillon en donde valero conecta fuertemente a antillon en el round numero 5 y por eso deciden parar la pelea donde no hubiera traido protector ese muchacho hubiera salido muy mal herido. saludos

a battle against two lefty hard punchers. i would love to see pacman and valero slug it out on the ring in the near future. it's the only way to end the story. however i think pacman has the more advantage over him because his style is like pacman 5 years ago where pacman has nothing in mind but to try to KO his opponents and forget about his defenses.

amigo valero solo tenia 27 peleas y en 27 peleas ya era doble campeon mundial aun teniendo pocos rounds en peleas oficiales ya que sus combates acaban rapido. las peleas con los boxeadores que tu dices se dan despues del boxeador tener unas 35 peleas y llevar buenas estadisticas. mira los videos de morales , pacquiao o marquez cuando tenian 27 peleas .. no tenian el nivel de valero ni muchos su record y ellos tambien pelearon con muchos boxeadores de bajo rango como todo iniciante. saludos

Antonio Pitalua es un buen peleador pero hasta ahi, Valero necesita demostrar de que esta hecho enfrentandose a alguien de buen calibre.
hermanaso , Dios mediante veremos si se da la contienda se va a dar en las vengas proximamente auqnue hasta donde se , soto no esta muy animado a subir de peso y prefiere mil veces quedarse en super pluma y enfrentar a linares .. el mismo soto dijo: si me dan a elegir prefiero a linares pero mis manejadores son los que deciden con quien voy a combatir.. saludos

His boxing style (fast counter attack) will help him to win a lot of boxing matches. But need to have more fights against big names before get to pacman. No doubt, he'll be a great boxer.

Don't understand what your point is I know both of them have been around a while but it was only in recent years that Valero came back from Japan and was looking to take on more meaningful competition. Valero's dead now anyway so my comments somewhat redundant on what he may or may not have gone onto achieve.

hermano entiendo su punto de vista se que valero no ha demostrado el poder de ko ante un peleador de la elite , pero es que apenas lleva veinticinco peleas solamente. tanto pacquiao como marquez cuando tenian veinticinco peleas peleaban con muchos bultos apenas llegaron a sus peleas numero 32 empezaron los desafios. los mismo pasa con soto que lleva casi 50 peleas y solo tiene de 5 a 7 peleas interesantes y sin pelear todavia con la elite. asi q valero a mi parecer su ritmo va bien
pues pacman tendria que tener la quijada de hierro.. valero si pelea con pacquiao seria una pelea bastante interesante . valero puede que pierda pero haria una excelente pelea

his early opponents were all unimpressive so the 20-0-20 record is somewhat flawed. even mosquera does not sport a n intimidating W-L record. if he beats someone like a Barrera or Joan Guzman then maybe this will add some luster to his career.
Pacquiao who recently destroyed El Terrible could be a great test but I don't see Valero winning as Pacquiao is obviously faster and has more technique although they may be on equal terms in punching power.

Estas mal, Pitalua es un gran boxeadro con un record imprecionante. Tenia 8 años sin perder con 46 victorias y 40 KOS. No me vayas a decir ke eso no es ser un peleador de gran categoria. Di mo ba kita sa sparring, Valero is holding back? As he does in most sparring sessions. He moves in spurts....aggressive but tempered violence. Bakit? Kasi sparring lang yan. Lumalabas sa mga comments mo, fan ka lang ng ilang boxingero, but not really the sport itself.
