Thanks for the lesson. I did a line scan from Google Free Images yesterday and stitched it out. I am so pleased with it. I just got my machine on Friday so am having fun learning things as I read the manual. Seeing a video helps.
I wonder if you could just make a copy of the first rectangle in the applique. Since they are both placement stitches. That way they would be the same size. No problems with reshaping to get the exact same size. You would just have to place it.
Then select the rectangle with the satin stitch. Win-Win to save time and not have to mess with it. :)
I recognize this bear shape from a Quiet Book I stitched up in the 1980's for my kids. That bear has some cute clothes to stitch out. Can't wait to try him. Thanks for the video. signed- Janet Price

Thank you for this video. May I ask where you got the baby buggy image from?

It was from a coloring book that we got from Borders Books. I don't remember the exact one as we seem to buy almost all those "grown up" coloring books on the market.

How do you scan a SECOND image ? Mine is stuck on the first.

You can only scan one image at a time. The first one will erase from the screen when you scan in another image.
