    Thank you very much for this!
    I just finished mine yesterday. I used black instead of olive, and a "red wine" red colour for the strands underneath.
    It wasn't easy for me, this was the third bracelet I've attempted so I'm rather new at this. But after starting over like 7 times I finally got it. It looks really cool and when I showed it to people at work, people looked surprised and a couple of people thought I'd bought it, which I suppose is a compliment :)
    Very good video!

    Really nice. I was obsessed with nice buckles and shackles for a while but the mad max closure along with the loop and knot closure are the only way to go. Can’t wait to make this one.

    I've had my eye on this one for a long time. I've made a LOT of paracord things, but never one with the mad max stopper. I spent a few hours making it this morning with an orange core and black weaving strands. I love the result. Thanks!!!

    I have small wrists. I used 14' for the black (olive drab) and 30" for each red and had about a foot of black left and some red....MAybe between 5-8" on each side. When tightened the pattern part of the bracelet has less than a 1/2" gap....which is how I wanted it. I love this bracelet and even though I've only made a few different styles just had to try. It came out extremely nice. Your instructions and video are wonderful.

    I’ve found that i don’t need to melt the ends using fids by feeding the last several inches of cord almost completely thru the length on the bottom side and unscrew the fid and remove It stays in place and no melting or rough edges

      @TheWeaversofEternity  6 лет назад +1

  • @Thornspyre
    @Thornspyre 6 лет назад +2

    You got "a bunch of stopper knots", and yet you went for the plain 2 strand diamond?
    It mightve been nice if youd fed all 6 strands through and tied a 6 strand mathew walker as a stopper, or a 6 strand mathew walker which led into a 4 strand diamond (trim 2 cords at the end of the MW) which hides most of thos eugly trim and burned ends, you then feed the 4 ends back down through the diamond and trim them off so they end up inside it
    I did this for mine, and im sitll a relative noob at this, and only know those 2 (MW and Diamond) for stopper knots. Wouldve been nice to seehow an expert finished with your wider knowledge of stoppers to call from.
    Anyway loved the video, as always, and loved making the bracelet, keep up the good work

    Just FYI for anyone making this bracelet, the 3 center strands need to be at least 20-25 inches in length, 10 inches is not enough to tie the cobra knots at the end, or to make the mad max tightening method. I’m not criticizing this channel, I’m just saying that the given paracord lengths aren’t sufficient for what is trying to be accomplished.

    • @theravenking1571
      @theravenking1571 Год назад

      I noticed that the video said 10 inches in the written disclaimer on screen but in his description for the video it says 3 feet for each red line giving you roughly 18 inches for each red strand from the middle point.

  • @gogeyeryuzune9095
    @gogeyeryuzune9095 7 лет назад +7

    I might be mistaken, but on the screen it says 3 × 10 inches for the red, yet while following you and copying and weaving, I realized it is not enough. Are you sure the red ones are 10 inches?

    • @gogeyeryuzune9095
      @gogeyeryuzune9095 7 лет назад

      Must be probably about 18 inches each.

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  7 лет назад

      +Emrah Gunduz It should be enough, because my wrist measurement is 6.5" so 10" should be about enough. But perhaps I measured incorrectly. Often times I use an excess of paracord and I try to base the measurements after I see how much paracord I wasted. So for me 10 inches was enough because that left me with about 4 inches to tie the last cobra knots and diamond knots. But to make it easier you can always use more like you said.

    • @gogeyeryuzune9095
      @gogeyeryuzune9095 7 лет назад +1

      The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials Thanks for the answer. If the given figure of 10 inches were correct, you would have around 5 inches of paracord to weave around since you folded them in half. Of course here you are the teacher and I am the student :) and I don't know for sure how much slack we should leave, but taking into account the adjustable loop, I would give it more than 15 inches. The funny thing is I trusted you and spent around 45 strenuous minutes, before I realized that something was wrong.

    I think I understand why it's called Bane's Cuffs because it resembles Bane is some way. For example his Mask! ^0^ The largeness of the bracelet resembles how big and masculine Bane is too. xD lol The color matches his military grade outfit in the movie. c: The red color represents his fury. His rage. ^~^ That's why its called Bane's cuffs. So when you wear it it feels big! It makes you feel strong and masculine. So tough. Tightening the cuffs increases your strength by 10 points. c: Venom intake! ^0^
    There you have it ladies and gentlemen. That's why its called Bane's Cuffs. c: I wonder if there is Scorpion's Cuffs or something. Scorpion from Mortal Kombat? Yellow and Black. Now that would make a beautiful design.

    Damn I didn't read the comment on the wrong paracord length. I started and realized it when I was at the end! Lol

    Great tutorial, but 2ft each for the three shorter strands is not long enough to tie the diamond knot if you have a decent size wrist. ☹️

      +orangewheels01 the measurements in the video are incorrect. Correct measurements are in the description and they have been pinned in the comments section. I also added an annotation stating that the proper measurements are in the description.

      It says in the description that the three wrist strands should be 2ft each? If I'm reading it wrong were are the correct lengths listed?
