Thanks for the great tutorial - I made this bracelet (my first one with six core strands), and it turned out fine. One thing I found was that not securing the two outer core strands until right at the end allowed for a bit of length adjustment - not a huge amount, but certainly enough to make the difference between a sloppy fit and a tight fit, so maybe half an inch. I used five feet of core and 13 ft of main colour, and it made exactly seven inches of weave, plus the buckle for a total of eight inches. Hope this helps somebody!
People never cease to amaze me. My dad taught me as a child how to tie fishermens knots. I've always been fascinated by them and how that has evolved into my fascination with paracord knots, bracelets and of course knife lanyards and fobs. Awesome video by the way and thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Great video. 8" wrist. With all the crossing, I added 1.5 inches to the length. 1 inch would have been better as you suggested. The semi-looseness of the side knots don't take up as much space as I expected. 5' of core cord. 16' approx. of weaving cord. Since I didn't have a buckle, I used the Mad Max bracelet closure. Using small nails and the side of a vegetable box from Costco, I made a jig with 4 nails at the top and two at the bottom. Easy to do and worked very well! This design takes a bit of time to do. The jig allowed me to take a break painlessly. It helps to do the two half-twists and string both the right and left before tightening. Tighten right then left, pushing up to keep the weave appropriately tight. Fids are a real plus when doing this design.
I recommend at least 5 feet minimally. I cut 4.5ft of some really nice cord to find I had maybe an inch excess, which isn't long enough to use needles to set it when finishing off the bracelet.
Doesn't this depend on wrist size? I would say if you have an 8 inch bracelet length, and a six strand core, you'd need about 56 inches of cord to comfortably work with, which is just over 4.5 feet. How long did you make yours? It would be good to know.
It took me three unsuccessful attempts (quite half-heartedly, I've to admit; all due to being impatient and not focused) over the past four years, but today I pulled myself together and finished my first "Bane's Cuff". Looking at it, and looking back, I wonder what took me so long in the first place as it really isn't complicated at all. Psychology, eh? So again, thanks Tim!
Finally got the right color of paracord I wanted to make this so this is going to be my next project. I always wonder though with these more complex weaves how in the hell somebody came up with it? Well, I'm thankful for the person that did, as well as people like Weavers of Eternity to pass it down, looks awesome.
I can't wait to try this. it did look a bit complicated at first, but after you did a couple of knots, I could see how easy it is. Great job. can't wait to see what you have next to try
tremblettderek That's ok, we all have to start somewhere! Glad I could inspire you to get to the next level. You're welcome and thanks for watching! :)
I just bought an ezzzy jig tonight. I'm not crazy about the stiffness of the paracord so I opted for something similar but more flexible. I love your videos . Supper excited about making these and adding my own twist. Wondering where I can get fids cheap
Thank's For Sharing this Cool Weave I'm definitely going to give it a try just like you've done but adding a few more inches for a larger wrist... Ive got Coyote Brown and Reflective OD Green to use ... Thanks now to look at the 4 strand 🤯😁😆 ✌🤠👍 HFLPRCing =Having Fun Laughing Playing and RCing 👍😎👍 AOAH =Association of Addicted Hobbiest 🙏 SSPH =Stay Safe and Play Healthy 🌟 Blessings from the Great Smoky Mountains East Tennessee
Hey I figured it out. I started the cuff the same way but with the extra one string to give me six core strands. You have to start the first knot a little different but from there you follow the steps in this tutorial
im glad i kept an eye out for this, thanks again for the heads up, now i need some more paracord and some buckles lol definitely gonna be the next one i try
Did it free hand. Mistakes made. Definitely a jig project. Not a fan of buckles. Combined the 1st (4 strand core) tutorial with this one. Tweaked it for the 'Mad Max' style of closure instead. Thanx for the tutorial! Keep them coming.
Nice! I've had bad experiences with both buckles and knot/loop so all my bracelets fall into the Mad Max style. Just saw you Ultimate Spiderman one. Going to adapt that one. Have to invest in fids now.
Hey! This is awesome! I'm trying it now, I just hope I have enough paracord to finish it! I'm going to do the 1st version too, just because I think the flatness could be really cool too!
When setting up your buckles are you supposed to go through the top or bottom of the last buckle cause you said bottom and did top then recapped that it was bottom
Question: I am not familiar with the measurement of the paracord. One site said 6MM and the other said 7 strand. Could you please specify exactly the weight/thickness/strand (whatever) I need to achieve this look. You said something about 6...but I didn't see a size 6......sorry for the most basic question. Thanks and great tutorial.....very clear videography!
Are you referring to the type of paracord? If so this is 550 paracord. Which should be a standard thickness across most brands of paracord, mainly the US made varieties.
I love ur videos very informative and easy to follow even with the more complicated weaves. Is there a way to do the banes cuff without using clips? Kinda like the mad max bracelet.
+Pat McAndrews It's most likely possible, but I haven't figured out a method for a 4 strand core knot and loop. If I do, I'll make a tutorial of course.
My wrist is 7 1/2". So how much would I need for working length and what would be the total size I need to set my jig up for? Oh and would the 6 core tutorial you made work for this bracelet or no?
Thanks, yeah to be honest, the length on this one was tricky for me as well. I've also noticed that even depending on the brand of cord, it can effect the end product.
Where did Bane wear a paracord bracelet like this one? I tried to spot it in the movie but couldnt find it, so I am wondering why is this referred as Banes bracelet? Great tutorial btw!
Yes, you can do this with a single piece of cord. I would use the 6-strand core buckles tutorial for the base and go from there. ruclips.net/video/r6XAMhV5v68/видео.html
I think if you did a 6 strand core with cow hitch in reverse going towards the center, you'd be able to put the accent color ridge down the center. I'm going to experiment with this.
I like the cuff without the raised ridge in the center, how would I set the buckles up without the 2 extra strands in the center. Keep in mind I've never made a bracelet with buckles before so this will be my first
Like Jeremy had said, you can try the original bane's cuff for a more flat pattern. I would use the 4 strand core on buckles tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/RXC1LQlkfAU/видео.html
+Clint Anderson Hey Clint, it's possible to do that, but I haven't figured out a method for a 6 strand knot and loop yet. If I do, I'll do a tutorial on it of course.
hey, is that possible to add some insertion materials like real gem beads or another precious metal ornaments into the making process? coz I really have ideas to use those materials in my own making.
Hi I am sonny love your work but I need a little help with the bracelet. My bracelet my wrist is a 10 inches so how much paracord. I would need to do this project.
i would say add at least a foot to each core strand and maybe another foot or 2 on the main weave. ive only done the buckle version once but on the knot and loop version I had alot of excess
How exactly do you measure the length of the paracord for your wrist size? like if you have a 7 inch wrist, do you use seven feet? just something to measure the length I need...

my first bracelet I have ever made was this cuff. so I thank you for the information
mine too
Is it comfortable to wear?

Well done. Ordered two fids and after they arrived, made one just like yours. Thanks.
That is the coolest weave i have ever witnessed. I must try it !!!!! Thank you for showing it to me.
That was the coolest cuff that I have made yet. I just finished it. Thank you.
Kudos Tim !! Can't wait to try this one. I really appreciate that you put so much effort into getting this just right.
Did mine in dark blue on silver grey base strands. Very nice!
Cool bracelet and glad I made it but it's a little time consuming until you get the hang of it.
Finally got the right color of paracord I wanted to make this so this is going to be my next project. I always wonder though with these more complex weaves how in the hell somebody came up with it? I can't wait to try this. it did look a bit complicated at first, but after you did a couple of knots, I could see how easy it is. Great job. can't wait to see what you have next to try
Did this with some micro cord for my little brother along with the shackle for a closure and he loves it
Did you use normal cord for the core or microcord
@@RC-os8uk I used normal do cord with microcord for the weave.
I'm a noob to paracord, the cobra weave is all that I've got at this point. But I enjoy it and hope to get to your level one day! Thanks for the Vid!!
tremblettderek That's ok, we all have to start somewhere! Glad I could inspire you to get to the next level. You're welcome and thanks for watching! :)

Yes, a real man knows how to stitch.
First attempt came out rough but excited to try again
Omg 7 years later I get into this and this was so easy thanks so so so much
Thank's For Sharing this Cool Weave I'm definitely going to give it a try just like you've done but adding a few more inches for a larger wrist... Ive got Coyote Brown and Reflective OD Green to use ... Thanks now to look at the 4 strand 🤯😁😆

hi i got a 15 cm wrist so can i use 288 cm paracord for main? thank you for your interest and keep going this way. so positive!
+Bilgehan Gunes I think that might be enough. This one is hard for me to estimate as I've only made it once. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Just finished my first bracelet after following this tutorial. It came out pretty damned good, actually. Thank you very, very much.
Is it comfortable to wear?
As long as you make it long enough, it certainly is.
Did it free hand. Mistakes made. Definitely a jig project. Not a fan of buckles. Combined the 1st (4 strand core) tutorial with this one. Tweaked it for the 'Mad Max' style of closure instead. Thanx for the tutorial! Keep them coming.
Cool! I've been contemplating what Mad Max style to do next. I might have to revisit this one.
Nice! I've had bad experiences with both buckles and knot/loop so all my bracelets fall into the Mad Max style. Just saw you Ultimate Spiderman one. Going to adapt that one. Have to invest in fids now.
you can go on amazon to get you needle for your paracord
ty it took me 2 to get it down now just tweaking the ridge is only issue
bout to make a rifle sling with this weave! thanks!
How did it come out? I want to do this too.
Hey!
This is awesome!
I'm trying it now, I just hope I have enough paracord to finish it!
I'm going to do the 1st version too, just because I think the flatness could be really cool too!
noa b Nice! Yeah some people like the flat version more. I like both. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Muchas gracias por compartir tu conocimiento hermano! saludos desde Venezuela!
When setting up your buckles are you supposed to go through the top or bottom of the last buckle cause you said bottom and did top then recapped that it was bottom
Job well done sir. This will definitely be my next project.

i have a question. do you call yourself a "Photographer"?
_Pajzhival AE yes I do but I don't think you don't.
I'm just asking bruh :D
I'm gonna make this as a dog collar. Any ideas what the measurements would be for a 19in neck?
Like your color combos
10 thousand thank yous on this one friend it turned out very good and easy to follow steps
10 thousand you're welcomes! :D
Great tutorial I'm going to try this soon , thanks for a great video , atb Martin
How about making a Paracord suit.
Roy Jiminez Lets start with a bowtie..
Roy Jiminez good idea
I’d pay to see that.
super video great jop, I have unfortunately always problems with the length.
Thanks, yeah to be honest, the length on this one was tricky for me as well. I've also noticed that even depending on the brand of cord, it can effect the end product.
great videos thanks for information
Where did Bane wear a paracord bracelet like this one? I tried to spot it in the movie but couldnt find it, so I am wondering why is this referred as Banes bracelet? Great tutorial btw!
+Crypsis he only wears it off film not in movie
like your videos, would really like to see on your vids how you measure for these patterns
Thank you
This is a great project. I have a question would this cuff be possible to do with one single piece of cord? Thank you and Subscribed.
Yes, you can do this with a single piece of cord. I would use the 6-strand core buckles tutorial for the base and go from there. ruclips.net/video/r6XAMhV5v68/видео.html
The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials Oh sweet thank you very much. Much Appreciated.
I think if you did a 6 strand core with cow hitch in reverse going towards the center, you'd be able to put the accent color ridge down the center. I'm going to experiment with this.
algo que llo evisto es que es muy bueno aprender hacer esto
I like the cuff without the raised ridge in the center, how would I set the buckles up without the 2 extra strands in the center. Keep in mind I've never made a bracelet with buckles before so this will be my first
watch the original banes cuff it is more flat without the ridge
Like Jeremy had said, you can try the original bane's cuff for a more flat pattern. I would use the 4 strand core on buckles tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/RXC1LQlkfAU/видео.html
Very nice tutorial. Thanks for centimeter!! :-D
great tutorial. I would like to this one with a knot and loop method. would you be able to do a tutorial on how to do a 6 strand knot and loop. thanks
+Clint Anderson Hey Clint, it's possible to do that, but I haven't figured out a method for a 6 strand knot and loop yet. If I do, I'll do a tutorial on it of course.
+The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials I actually figured out how to do it. I just added another strand to the core giving you 6 strands
What was that thing called that you used to make it easier while you were weaving? It's silver. Thanks, great video.
+Coleslaw & Brae-T That's a fid, you can get them from most paracord suppliers.
What size buckle did you use? And did you use 550 0r 275?
Is this cuff/bracelet designed to look like the mask worn by the character Bane in The Dark Knight Rises? Or is Bane wearing a bracelet like this?
Nice work!
very cool tutorial
Phil Bivins Thanks!
that,s very good good job man
Help , i do exactly what you do but mine keeps looking weird what do i do ?
+Alex Swanson It's hard to help if I don't know exactly what you're doing. Perhaps you can post a picture in the Fb group.
Nice! thanks for the good tutorial keep it up.
+Ownorzz Will do! You're very welcome!
Very cool thanks for the guide
+Voydwalker You're welcome!
The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials Isit possible to make this style but without buckles?
Thanks
Beautiful job. Thank you!
DCavalcade Thanks and you're welcome!
Can I ask what colors you're using for this weave? I really like the look of it. Great tutorial btw!
***** Foliage green for the core and OD green for the main weaving strands.
For an eight in. bracelet how much length would someone reccomend I use for the core?
Hi Tim where did you get your buckles? Thanks
Is that bracelet 7 inches including the buckle or not including the buckle?
Can you give me the exact colors used please. Thank you. Awesome video too!
Foliage Green for core strands, OD green for main weaving strands.
It looks badass!!!
How can you add 2 more steands to make the wide version?
I am goign to attempt to make this as a rifle sling. It will have to be about 39 inches long. Wish me luck
Made it! excellent tutorial
***** Awesome!
were did you get the needle that you use in your vids. did you buy or make from some thing? thanks for the tutorials, keep up the great work.
+Eric Powers You can try www.paracordplanet.com. They have a great selection of tools and accessories.
Thanks I ordered some fids on amazon, they are working well for just 3 1/2 inchs.
hey, is that possible to add some insertion materials like real gem beads or another precious metal ornaments into the making process? coz I really have ideas to use those materials in my own making.
That depends on the pattern you are weaving, but with some creative thinking there is always a way to incorporate embellishments onto your bracelets.
Its so interesting, isn't it? thx for your tutorials i'd explored firsthand. your designs are unique & can be applied into my creative creations.
awesome tutorial, thanks for posting it!
EdBoyTeHGamer Thanks man! You're welcome, thank you for watching and commenting. :)
awesome. cant wait to try it
Kyle Nugent Go for it! I loved making this one. Tempted to do another :D
Could this work if I slip a watch though the middle?
Hi I am sonny love your work but I need a little help with the bracelet. My bracelet my wrist is a 10 inches so how much paracord. I would need to do this project.
i would say add at least a foot to each core strand and maybe another foot or 2 on the main weave. ive only done the buckle version once but on the knot and loop version I had alot of excess
Good work man !!!!
Thanks man!
hey nice tutorial, your using od green, what the other colour your using? thanks,
Anthony O Brien I'm using OD green for the main cords and foliage green for the core.
thanks a million
How exactly do you measure the length of the paracord for your wrist size? like if you have a 7 inch wrist, do you use seven feet? just something to measure the length I need...
+Louis Langoulant (LJLangoulant97) It differs with every bracelet. To be honest, I'm actually really bad with measurements. >.
Late by 4 years of as now but will this work with a bow shackle?
how long is this bracelet sir?
Any reason why the core needs to have 6 strands? I find that you'll get a pronounced ridge with a 4 strand just by twisting it a bit tighter.
+Cameron Harder You don't have to have a 6 strand core. As you said a 4 strand will work too.
can you make one with the top weave 2 colors
What size is the buckle 1/2 inch or 1 inch
from where we should buy ? from which store?
hey Tim
what size buckles are those?
What size buckle did you used
