Ademco 6128 Demo Kit Overview

This is a demo kit from 1997 that salesman would bring to show off the alarm system and what it could do. Although this was a very basic demo it did show you everything you would see most of the time. The keypad is a Ademco 6138RF and has a Bi-Directional remote that talks. Although Not shown here because the battery it needs I have been unable to find. I will demonstrate the remote in a later video.

I've always been interested seeing these vista demo systems! Thank you for making a video on them. I wonder how exactly they work, though. Maybe they're a condensed vista? Or maybe they have just enough to pretend to be one. Either way, it's a very cool thing to have.

I had no idea it was slower. Mabye it’s the cameras frame-rate making it look slower.

The display on the 6160 is slower because the demo board is old and not as fast as new panels. My vista 10se updates the display slowly, but my vista 20 doesn't even on the same keypad.
