They are basically the same thing, This is a Honeywell alarm system, just sold and rebranded by ADT. I still refer to it as a Honeywell system. Just not in the title.

Using two wires, a resistor, and the installer menu to configure a hardwired zone to detect a closed connection from the doorbell.

You know what would suck, if like you armed the system at night and while you moved in your sleep it sets off the motion sensor and the panel

You Arm it home if your want to arm it and sleep, Arming home means the motion sensor will not count only the contact sensor, Some alarm systems have no arming home mode.
Edit: Stay Mode Is Home mode And Home mode is stay mode
