I’m stumped at Step 2. I do not see any outlet into which the transformer is plugged. I’ll have to call customer service in the morning, as I doubt they’re still open at 10pm.

My plug is on the other side of the wall. I'm pretty sure that's done on purpose so if someone breaks in your garage where the box is they cant unplug it so fast. Look in the attic as well that's were I found my doorbell transformer. It has to be close by. Good luck

My red wire connector to the battery looks like it fried. Where it clips to the battery is gone too. Easy to change?

You should be able to get a connector at any auto part store or Harbor Freight. But I would test the charger to make sure its not shorting out.

Mine is displaying Chime Bat. It is same ADT panel. Currently, system is not actively monitored with ADT nor another alarm company. Does this screen display mean I have to replace the same battery or is there another battery that needs replacing?

It could be one of the window or door sensors but they usually have number...

@@JohnCRV About 1 or 2 weeks ago, I was turned off the circuit breaker that provides juice to that side of the house. I recall the ADT display went dark. Could this be the source of the Chime Bat message and the beeping?

@@JohnCRV If I just disconnect the transformer at outlet, will this put the whole system to sleep? Damn irritating and maybe not worth spending $$ on replacement battery.
