I made the mistake of trying everything to get her back. After finding about no contact and focusing on me and bettering me, I realized I'm better off without her! I'm doing so well now and feeling great! I still have moments where I miss her but I know there's someone out there that will treat me better and appreciate me. Thanks for the video.

I think I might’ve pushed my ex away and made him break up with me because of my opinions. I didn’t make him do anything, but I voiced my opinion about what I thought he should do or what I thought of his friends (I didn’t think highly of one of them in particular, and I voiced that opinion whenever the topic was brought up). So I feel like that led to why he ultimately broke up with me a few weeks ago. It was too much stress for him to hear my opinions and also still be friends with the person. I don’t know how to get him back, but that’s all I want...
Hi Shannon I would stick to your NC for 30 days and in that time just focus on the holy trinity. If you get to a point where you are chatting again, keep your opinions of his friend to yourself as this has no effect on your relationship with your ex. If you don't like his friends that's your view but you are creating the divide by voicing your opinions of him which he made the decision - his friends.
Chris Seiter thank you, I agree and I think this will be the best. I’m thinking of reaching out and apologizing and just telling him how I feel about the whole situation after not contacting him for a while. I know that many people think that will give him the power, but it’s what I feel I need to do in order to have any chance with him. And if I don’t have a chance, I will ask him to tell me so that I can move on. It’s what I think will work for me. I just can’t really buy into “waiting for him to come to me,” in my mind that will only make him think I don’t care about him. I don’t want to deceive him.
Shannon Morehead oh wow Shannon your situation sounds identical to mine! Mine broke up with me in March. I could not stand one of my exes friends and went way overboard in voicing my opinions on her. I was absolutely right about her I know, she has a massive crush on my ex and had previously made moves on him and kept trying to get him to cancel dates with me to see her and also said that she should be as important to him as I was even though I was his girlfriend! It got out to her from his sister that I had said I couldn’t stand her and she ended up sending me mean belittling messages which I replied to in a calm reasonable manner and caused a load of other trouble. His Mother really likes this friend and so does his sister and they both kept telling him I was controlling and manipulative etc. I think it really has unfortunately become one of the main reasons for our break up but I am hopeful I can get him back. Did NC and some radio silence and he’s reached out quite a few times so it’s never quite got to 30 days. We didn’t have a massive row when we broke up, I cried though, but he was texting me normally minus the kisses afterwards and reaching out first. He even said he regretted what he’d done but a few days later totally changed his tune which is when I went into NC. I am just slowly trying to rebuild rapor and trying the tide theory now, ending conversations at high points and making it a little more each time. Good luck to you!
Legz Akimbo I totally understand your situation. It’s been about a month and a half now since we broke up, and I am feeling SO much better. I feel like I don’t need him back in order to be happy. I still think he and I had something special, but circumstances just wouldn’t allow it to happen (at least not now, and maybe not even for the rest of my life). But I’m okay with that now and realize that there are so many other new and exciting people to open up to. I didn’t like his best friend because he was very controlling, but not liking him made ME seem like the controlling one and I think that’s what led to our breakup. His family was also a mess and were very manipulative, and I voiced my opinion when I got the chance. I thought that he respected my opinion and he definitely knew I was right, but it was just too much for him to handle hearing my opinions on his friends and family and then still seeing them every day and having to be civil with them. He just doesn’t know what he wants and how to get certain people out of his life. And so I guess I’m better off without that energy, because it was not a healthy relationship towards the end. He did not treat me like a priority. Sorry for rambling. But I wish you the best as well, and don’t forget that NC is mainly to work on yourself! That’s what I’ve done for the past month and I feel great, when a month ago I never thought I’d recover from this breakup. I still think about it often, but I don’t cry every time and I don’t feel the need to. It’s the past now, and I’m grateful that I got away from an unhealthy situation. :)
I know that is hard. If you are practicing no contact, it sometimes will take the form of limited no contact in the workplace as some situations can't be avoided. But stay the course with whatever plan you have in place.
I don't even believe my ex sees my social media. I think she has my posts hidden so she doesn't see anything of me. We do have some mutuals and her brother is still friends with me... those people still watch my stories or like my stuff but not that much... I've been posting a lot of good content lately but have not gotten any signs that it's working. I don't see the point in social media posts if she isn't even going to see them.

Last year my SP ghosted me for 2 months. Just at the moment I accepted it was definitely over, she suddenly called me. After that we reconnected and had a wonderful time together. I forgave her but also specifically asked her never to do that again. She even apologized for it (which she seldom does). One day I felt really low mentally and I called a guy I basically had a friendly conversation with him and talked about my boyfriend (my ex now) the whole time, I Told my friend that the guy was attractive and that I thought my bf was gonna break up with me. He caught me and asked if I was cheating at the time I thought it was and I said yes, we dated after that still and 3 weeks later I noticed he was becoming distant. To the point he wanted to game all day and call me right before he went to sleep, and sometimes when we did call he would game while I wanted to talk, and he apologized and said he felt broken and depressed. His dad fell off a roof a few days before we broke up. I said it was okay. The next day I waited for him and at 4 am I was mad and I said it’s fine you can talk to other girls now we’re over, and he called immediately ,he was really sad and I said I still wanted to be together and I was telling him how I acted out of anger when I should’ve been understanding. And he didn’t want me back he said we needed a break. And then he was talking about a breakup. The next few days we would call every night and I tried to make him jealous one day and he said it was okay. But the next day he kept mentioning it over and over. At night he finally told me it made him jealous on a scale from 8/10. But the day after he said he wasn’t and that I should be talking to other people. We called still and I texted him and he kept saying we were still gonna marry me and one day he just tells me he doesn’t want to get with me I told him I can’t talk to him and be friends if he doesn’t want a future with me. I always had to text first. I texted him after and we would have a great conversation until we talked about the breakup and then he would get cold and say he didn’t want to talk to me. After we first broke up he said it was because he hurts me too much and now he is saying it’s because of me texting that guy. We broke up on April 17 and I started no contact rule may 5. It’s been 5 days so far and I really want him back but I already think he is over me🥺 please help

Hi Chris, how about long distance relationship break up? I sensed someone lurked around her and told her to avoid him. Few weeks later we broke up because of that guy and then i started no contact few days later i started NC and she sent me a message and she deleted it and then blocked me on social media she also sent message to my mom asking how am i doing now and i replied back as she started to reach out and i said "im doing fine, i noticed you blocked me, just send me a message in case you change your mind". I think you present information amazingly but my issue with your videos is that you talk about 'the ex' as if we are still in a relationship with them eg. finishing convo first etc. I've felt this in a few of your videos, not just this point you're making, also the 'investing time, energy and effort' that needs to happen before the break up. Most of us are coming from a place of loss already. it's too late. It can't happen if there is no contact or if they are gone or you're blocked etc. Just saying :) its confusing to me.
as i understood , to be ready to loos the ex mentaly helps you to keep staying in no contact correctly and focus on your recovery and growing and he/she will find out that ultimatly even if you are not at the same place . your ex will know that you are serious and strong and be sure that this affects on his/her deccision about coming back or moving on . in case of blocking , if you never mind and continue to work on yourself , normaly they will unblock you after a while .
So today I saw my ex because of a financial matter and told him that I didn’t want to have contact with him and he didn’t believe me it’s like he thinks I’m wrapped around his finger. What should I do if he’s been contacting me almost once per day? So I was dumped because I didnt show enough interest when she was showing a ton back. I was scared of moving too fast and due to poor communication she distanced herself. I think I might’ve pushed my ex away and made him break up with me because of my opinions. I didn’t make him do anything, but I voiced my opinion about what I thought he should do or what I thought of his friends (I didn’t think highly of one of them in particular, and I voiced that opinion whenever the topic was brought up). So I feel like that led to why he ultimately broke up with me a few weeks ago. It was too much stress for him to hear my opinions and also still be friends with the person. If you get to a point where you are chatting again, keep your opinions of his friend to yourself as this has no effect on your relationship with your ex. If you don't like his friends that's your view but you are creating the divide by voicing your opinions of him which he made the decision - his friends.

I’m thinking of reaching out and apologizing and just telling him how I feel about the whole situation after not contacting him for a while. I know that many people think that will give him the power, but it’s what I feel I need to do in order to have any chance with him. And if I don’t have a chance, I will ask him to tell me so that I can move on. It’s what I think will work for me. Shannon Morehead oh wow Shannon your situation sounds identical to mine! Mine broke up with me in March. I could not stand one of my exes friends and went way overboard in voicing my opinions on her. I was absolutely right about her I know, she has a massive crush on my ex and had previously made moves on him and kept trying to get him to cancel dates with me to see her and also said that she should be as important to him as I was even though I was his girlfriend! It got out to her from his sister that I had said I couldn’t stand her and she ended up sending me mean belittling messages which I replied to in a calm reasonable manner and caused a load of other trouble. His Mother really likes this friend and so does his sister and they both kept telling him I was controlling and manipulative etc. I think it really has unfortunately become one of the main reasons for our break up but I am hopeful I can get him back. Did NC and some radio silence and he’s reached out quite a few times so it’s never quite got to 30 days. We didn’t have a massive row when we broke up, I cried though, but he was texting me normally minus the kisses afterwards and reaching out first. He even said he regretted what he’d done but a few days later totally changed his tune which is when I went into NC. I am just slowly trying to rebuild rapor and trying the tide theory now, ending conversations at high points and making it a little more each time. Good luck to you!
Legz Akimbo I totally understand your situation. It’s been about a month and a half now since we broke up, and I am feeling SO much better. I feel like I don’t need him back in order to be happy. I still think he and I had something special, but circumstances just wouldn’t allow it to happen (at least not now, and maybe not even for the rest of my life). But I’m okay with that now and realize that there are so many other new and exciting people to open up to. I didn’t like his best friend because he was very controlling, but not liking him made ME seem like the controlling one and I think that’s what led to our breakup. His family was also a mess and were very manipulative, and I voiced my opinion when I got the chance. I thought that he respected my opinion and he definitely knew I was right, but it was just too much for him to handle hearing my opinions on his friends and family and then still seeing them every day and having to be civil with them. He just doesn’t know what he wants and how to get certain people out of his life. And so I guess I’m better off without that energy, because it was not a healthy relationship towards the end. He did not treat me like a priority. Sorry for rambling. But I wish you the best as well, and don’t forget that NC is mainly to work on yourself! That’s what I’ve done for the past month and I feel great, when a month ago I never thought I’d recover from this breakup. I still think about it often, but I don’t cry every time and I don’t feel the need to. It’s the past now, and I’m grateful that I got away from an unhealthy situation. :)

Last year my SP ghosted me for 2 months. Just at the moment I accepted it was definitely over, she suddenly called me. After that we reconnected and had a wonderful time together. I forgave her but also specifically asked her never to do that again. She even apologized for it (which she seldom does).
This year she started ghosting me again and now it’s been almost 3 months since I heard from her.

We called still and I texted him and he kept saying we were still gonna marry me and one day he just tells me he doesn’t want to get with me I told him I can’t talk to him and be friends if he doesn’t want a future with me. I always had to text first. I texted him after and we would have a great conversation until we talked about the breakup and then he would get cold and say he didn’t want to talk to me. After we first broke up he said it was because he hurts me too much and now he is saying it’s because of me texting that guy. We broke up on April 17 and I started no contact rule may 5. Hi Chris, how about long distance relationship break up? I sensed someone lurked around her and told her to avoid him. I think you present information amazingly but my issue with your videos is that you talk about 'the ex' as if we are still in a relationship with them eg. finishing convo first etc. I've felt this in a few of your videos, not just this point you're making, also the 'investing time, energy and effort' that needs to happen before the break up. Most of us are coming from a place of loss already. it's too late. It can't happen if there is no contact or if they are gone or you're blocked etc. Just saying :) its confusing to me.
as i understood , to be ready to loos the ex mentaly helps you to keep staying in no contact correctly and focus on your recovery and growing and he/she will find out that ultimatly even if you are not at the same place . your ex will know that you are serious and strong and be sure that this affects on his/her deccision about coming back or moving on . in case of blocking , if you never mind and continue to work on yourself , normaly they will unblock you after a while .

Hi Chris, I don't know if you're even responding to the comments on this video anymore but I left my ex about a week ago because he was neglecting me, got me addicted to a really bad drug and was verbally abusive.
