Daughter, a POWER FILLED TEACHING! I have been blessed with a good husband and a lasting marriage due in part to me being able to guard my tongue. However, this teaching reminded me of my attitude on a spiritual level. While not speaking, it but having the wrong attitude. My husband is older and becoming more and more forgetful. This has sometimes caused us financial issues and I have taken care of it covering the both of us, yet without having the proper attitude. Thank you for allowing the Spirit to speak through you. You have helped me from slipping into error and causing harm to my marriage. Continue allowing The Most High to use you. Those who have ears will hear and act accordingly!
Well how do we keep being a virtuous wife when our husband is constantly breaking boundaries and fighting his own demons after you constantly give him grace?… How do we continue to fight without being a doormat?… I would love a detailed answer other than prayer because i pray consistently but i am tired. I am only 26 trying to do what’s best that Jesus would want and it takes a toll on me.
Look to the story of Abigail in the Bible - 1 Samuel. She was a virtuous woman and her husband was rough. Your Godly behavior can lead him to Jesus and lead him to repentance. Continue on following the Lord and Luke 6:28 KJV [28] Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. I’m 27 I’ve been married for 7 years and we have 4 children together. My husband has grown into a God loving man and father in which he has not always been.. we have been through a lot but honoring him when things weren’t right brought him to realize how wrong he was.. everyone is on their own walk with God even in family units. Show him grace just as the Lord does.. forgive him of his sins.. ultimately Love him even if no other human could. Show him Jesus.
I would love to hear advice on this too. I was literally just talking to God, asking how to be graceful, forgiving and loving when you aren't getting the same grace and empathy
I’m also 26, married 6 years. Everybody is different, but my husband has his own things too, and in all my efforts of trying to change him (even in good ways) I’ve found the most success came from using my influence and prayer and not from being domineering/critical. When he trusts you to support him and not attack him, he will be more willing to hear your side of things, because you’re his loving wife who is gentle to him, who isn’t a threat. Pray for him everyday, multiple times a day, and really look at the thing in you that thinks you know what is best and wants to be in control. I found the more I put that thing in me that wanted to rule to death, the more he was able to rise up into who he was supposed to become. Because even without realizing it, we are influencing them no matter what we do. If we’re critical, we’re telling them they aren’t good leaders and that they are only messing up, and what kind of person feels encouraged to lead in those circumstances? Just my advice. Look up books on it too, it’s worth exploring 💓

I will strive to be my husband's biggest chear leader in Jesus' name!!! Yes, this month I've been reading through Proverbs because there are so many verses about our tongue and being a nagging/contentious wife. Our attitude is HUGE. A lot of us shirk accountability in this area. Keep preaching, sis!

Hello! New Homemaker here with a full time work from home job. The Lord had me stumble across your channel last night and it has been sooo uplifting! I literally was having a tough breakdown and was going to continue to waddle in it, but then I started watching your videos last night and felt so much better! I am 30 and didn't have ANY examples of how to be a life giving wife AT ALL, so I'm literally figuring it out as I go and most times fail at it. However, I appreciate you for this channel! Plan on watching all of your content to help me be better.

I love your videos angel, can you please post one about how to overcome anxiety with God I'm trying my best to be a Homemaker bt I'm struggling 😢 and I feel like my husband has to do what I should be doing, like grocery shopping etc... i take care of the house kids laundry bt i stay home so much that i feel like i dont get to enjoy time with my husband or kids
I think the problem is, is that there are many women who are submitting to men that are not submitting themselves unto the Lord, which of course will bring a lot of chaos because the man is choosing to treat his wife by his own ideologies instead of what the word of the Lord would tell him to do. Now of course I am not saying that men that do submit themselves to the Lord are perfect because that’s of course not the case, but when and if that man is doing things or treating his wife contrary to what the word says, he should feel convicted, repent and make amends with his wife, if he is truly submitted to the Lord.
Listening while I’m cooking him dinner and he is sick with Covid. Been struggling with these past two topics. I got an inspirational journal today, time to start the work.
