Great video! I miss Tenn! Lived there summer of 2005. Was awesome. As a former pro musician I should probably be thinking Nashville but it seems a bit more Woke than Knox.
Thanks Jennifer! That's the best video that describes the life here in Tennessee that I have seen. The only thing I might add is that we both have low taxes with no state income taxes and no state property taxes. Also, I have to say something about the people here in Tennessee. This is still the Bible belt but also I think we are the most friendly people in the Country. It's common for people to wave to each other even if they don't even know each other! Or another thing, is we routinely let others go in front of us in the grocery shopping line!
In a lot of the south in general, people don't wave like they say. I grew up up north and people waved more to people on the street than i seen for instance in SC, NC and GA.
Thank you for the video! I’ll be visiting Knoxville this coming weekend! Really trying to pinpoint where I’d like to move to in the next year or so and your video is very helpful!
Great video! One caveat is that you didn't mention baseball teams like the Nashville Sounds and Tennessee Smokies (near Knoxville) when you were talking about sports!
I'm 22 looking to move to Nashville or Knoxville which would you prefer for someone who doesn't have a lot of money and who just wants to get away from their home state?
Z Hi! What are your thoughts on I think it’s Haden? In knoksville? Or the top 3 or so NICEST areas in knocksville please? We’re coming from California, just fyi. Thank you!
Amen..avoiding the woke is the reason for moving form L.A. lol- no on talks about it-we r not all moving to save money-many of us are saving our soull's lol.
Omg..lol...smart! I am in south fl ..not woke luckily. But..plan to movebin 2 yrs and TN seems to be the place I will end up. Just gotta choose the right spot.

The people moving to Tennessee are different from those moving to TX and FL. These people are conservative moving to TN to keep TN red nut not for IT jobs or beaches. So done worry. 😄
@@stevec3537She is saying people moving to TN are conservative so don’t worry! Just because people are moving from more liberal states to TN, people need to stop assuming people are liberal. I know quite a few conservatives that live in CA.

Been to both cities. Both cities are beautiful in their own way. While in Knoxville, I did go to Dollywood. It was awesome there.
Dollywood is the bomb!

Great description of comparing the two cities
Thanks! 😃
Knoxville. Also, it's close enough to Nashville to visit. : )
Do you have a video comparing Knoxville to Chattanooga?
I do not.. I'm not familiar with Chattanooga area unfortunately!

I didn't know about the Smokies!

that really depends on what you're looking for! Both are pretty different, I'd keep watching videos as a good start!
I'm in the same boat! 22 y/o, debating where to move.

If moving to Knoxville what is a place to look on the internet for house rentals? looking for something with a few acres just trying to get some ideas
Zillow is a great place to look or rentals!
Can you please compare frequency of tornadoes between the two?
West and middle Tennessee get a lot more tornadoes. So probably safer in Knoxville if you are looking to avoid tornadoes.
THANK YOU!
I don’t know how anyone affords anything. 655k MEDIAN!!
That is just certain towns there are plenty of areas where the median price is much lower
Is Hendersonville a good place to live?
Love Hendersonville! Reach out to us if you're looking for more info on Hendersonville!
DEW POINT is what matters, NOT humidity.
Really? How dies dew point relate to humidity? Thnx
Those median home prices..whattt?🤯Where are the least expensive single family homes that are actually affordable on one income of 60k? Thanks.
Depends on downpayment amount, credit, etc. Feel free to reach out with any questions!!

Don't move to Tennessee and bring liberal attitudes with you.

@Lucy Guo there may be something to that. I ran into a family from California at boy scout camp and these folks were as conservative as they come.

Loved Knoxville. Have to say Nashville was kind of dirty and run down.
why is crime bad??? suburbs too?
Knoxville is not even close to Nashville. It’s nothing to do here in Knoxville it’s boring. Move to Nashville its so much better of everything.
I go to Knoxville cause I say there’s nothing to do in Johnson City 😂 or I go to Asheville.
At least Knoxville is better than Memphis.
@@alexlevingston That’s is pretty obvious
What are the best suburbs in the Nashville area?
Hey beautiful Queen! How is it living in Nashville?
What about blue collar workers? We can just do all the rich ppls hard work while we live in a dump.
Nashville is the clear winner not even close
If you are willing to take a significant greater risk of life threatening tornadoes.
@@truthbetold6942 Yes Nashville has tornadoes Knoxville has nothing
How about tornadoes???
Nashville does have tornadoes but East Tennessee has the great Smoky mountains so East Tennessee hardly has tornadoes
No contest Nashville hands down.
Knoxville is horrible
Drugs everywhere and homeless
I was scammed renting an apartment
My car was stolen
It was horrible
Lol😂😂 that's fake
