Fran mentions this quite a few times on the night before the wedding and even hides behind Sylvia when Max shows up to rescue the 3 of them. But God Fran's dress is absolutely STUNNING! It was from a real bridal shop in Beverly Hills and it cost $12k!!!!! I love the bridesmaid dresses too. lol can I be any gayer? =P

Likely due to 2 reasons? She hated Fran the moment she met her in season 3 and vice versa and Maxwell proposed to Fran just to spite his mother and Fran was not of their class or didn't come from money! Fran was very much like Maxwell's father's mistress!

I think that always kind of annoyed me with the fact that they did like a complete 180 with Jocelyn’s character, considering just how sort of meek and sweet she used to be…

The marriage that ended a funny series.
That would be CC and Niles's wedding, the show went on further to show that Fran continued as she started: being the loving mother figure of the household.
@@turquoiseheart6320 The sexual tension between the Nanny and Sheffield is what kept the series popular.
CC and Niles were great roles, but replaceable with other outrageous characters. The series didn't live or die with the supporting cast.

I actually enjoyed a lot of the last season, but I know that’s not a popular opinion.
The show was never going to last more than six seasons anyway. By season five the Sheffield kids were no longer in need of a full time, live in nanny. Fran and Maxwell’s relationship was a distraction from that.
