I know this video is from a year ago, but I just purchased a 2012 Chevy tahoe and was looking up information on how to fit 26" rims on a tahoe. After watching this video, I am very impressed with your fit up to shorten the back of the tahoe to allow the staggered rim to look near stock dimensions. I am a certified welder for 3g and 4g 1" to unlimited with SMAW through AWS as a local 55 union Ironworker. Your weld fitment is spot on with grinding a 45° bevel on both sides to allow a full pen for a root pass and more weld for cover passes rather than a 1 or 2 pass butt weld. I see a lot of shops that claim that their welders are the best, but they produce day one novice mistakes. My hats off to you. Keep up the good work.

You don’t have to do any modifications for a 2012. Just simply bolt on with proper offset
