4:17 I am just SO overcome with emotion right now!!!
I watched from here in Cleveland, Ohio and I saw the moon completely cover the sun!!!
I saw Bailey's Beads and the Diamond Ring.
I didn't see the planets Jupiter and Venus or the comet because I was so mesmerized and engrossed in just looking upon this Heavenly Show!!!
Awe inspiring moment...words don't do it justice!!!
I stood and stared and cried!!!!
As soon as the moon covered the sun there were fireworks going off around me!!
I saw the Sun's corona as it glowed around the moon.
I even saw on the bottom some orange/red/pink solar flares.
Everything around me was a dark gray.
I will never get to experience this again in my lifetime.
    It was beautiful....majestic.....surreal.
My daughter and her friends sent me pictures of this Total Solar Eclipse.
    W...O...W!!!
I don't have the best camera on my phone so I'm glad that I have these pictures.
I'm using one as my background screen.
I'm still emotional and I don't think I will ever stop being this way.
    😮😊🥰🌞🌝🌑

I was at Homestead Heritage, just north of Waco and the clouds threatened but just before totality the sky cleared and we witnessed the last couple of minute prior to totality and totality with clear skies. We were so very blessed with that good fortune. For myself and my wife, it was our third eclipse, having been to the total eclipse in 2017 in Nebraska and the Annular Eclipse in 2023 in New Mexico. This was the best. It was the most awe inspiring thing I have ever seen. One thing that people really forget about these events; it is the one time where you can have a reference point in the sky and actually see the movement of the moon in its orbit around Earth. The sky turns from the most bizarre twilight that you have ever seen into almost total darkness in a second and you can see other things in the night sky in the middle of the day. We had a beautiful view of Venus, just to the right of the eclipse. To those young enough to wait around till 2045 when the United States gets to witness another total eclipse, make sure you do not waste that opportunity.........see it. It is OMG breathtaking!

It says zilch about your "god" obsession. It's just huge rocks (Earth and the Moon) and a ball of plasma (the Sun) orbiting in space. It so happens periodically that because of their size and distance from each other as well as the laws of physics that they get aligned, producing a solar eclipse on some parts of the Earth. If "god" existed, he would have no use for producing cheap tricks, such as eclipses.

We started off the day with rain and clouds, but as we got closer to totality the clouds began to move behind us. Minutes before totality the sky opened up and we had a crystal clear view. This was the first time getting to see full interrupted totality and it was absolutely breathtaking! The sky darkened and the temperature began to drop, and then totality and the diamond ring. We all just stood there in awe looking at the sky. I got a little emotional as I looked around. I saw totality in Myrtle Beach in 2017, but we had some light cloud coverage, so we didn't get the full totality experience. I am so thankful that the weather turned around for us yesterday. ironically, it was mostly cloudy in many parts of Mexico where the Eclipse was happening as well as in Texas but up here in southern IL where we normally see a lot more clouds, we had a mostly clear day with inly high clouds that did not block the Eclipse at all.

Life has me too busy, was in the gym for an hour then went and worked from 6pm till 2am sunday night. Went home, was in the studio recording and mixing my music, didn’t sleep till 9am, decided to try to stay up to watch the eclipse at 2-3pm but was so sleepy i fell asleep and woke up at 5pm. I put an alarm for 2pm but ignored cause i was so tired also heard glasses were sold out at libraries. Capitalism wants us to keep working non stop, we cant be fat so we gotta work out, cant be complacent so we gotta follow our dreams, cant be broke so we gotta make money but somehow you all want us to make time for this lmao And then you talk about it like Jesus christ came. Solar eclipses happen every 18 months, especially on east coast where i am, it will happen again in a some years. Stop hyping it up, we dont have time. We’re simply too busy. Only those who work corporate jobs would have been able to watch this. If u have overnight hospital job, delivery, hotel and you pursue something on the side. Its hard to find time
