Absolutely inspirational, wind, rain, hail, cold and some serious, serious hills, and still you remained cheerful. Thank you for taking us with you, be well, god bless.
Hi Keith! aw it's nice of you to say, but this is the fun part!!! cancer is hard! I dont mind rain or anything. I'll take snow! wind. everything. I love life. Just so great to be out there again
I too had cancer, 6 weeks radiotherapy, 3 courses of chemo, and touch wood, it's gone.So to see these great adventures is inspirational, I have never been a big cyclist, and used to find a 13 mile commute hard, but I enjoy watching your adventures 👍
@@keithgarland3404 oh god poor you Keith so sorry, there too many of us... Glad you enjoy the films. More coming! best wishes from me, hope it's a good day so far there with you! x
That was epic, Susannah - more so for the personal health journey you've experienced. You have such an ability to make cosy in the most inclement conditions, and find joy in the most modest of things - a gift we could all learn from I suspect! Thank you for taking the time to film it all. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks Lou! such a sweet thing you wrote, finding joy in modest things, yes. Small things are not small at all, I'm just so thankful that I can get out and do things and enjoy it all xx

Hi Louise! aw thanks for watching! makes me think I must organise my channel page a bit so it is easier to navigate around and see what is there. keep meaning to do it and dont get roudn to it! Glad you enjoy the films anyway! best wishes!
OMG Susanna!!!! As a recovering breast cancer patient myself I ride my Brompton around where I live (Miami-Fort Lauderdale area in South Florida the US) but YOU have blown me away with this journey!! Your 'snippets' of exercise would make most very healthy people pass out! I have downloaded this video to watch again and again, and to show to friends and family! You are AMAZING!!!! I am trying to get my head around the fact that you rode all the way from Stafford to Wales before even beginning your tour of Wales!! You did have me going for a minute at the very start of the video when it said you were riding in London and I thought, "Is she riding to Wales from London?!?!?" But after watching this I have no doubt you could have ridden from London to Wales, because I just had a peek at your other videos and Ooohhhh... I am so impressed I have goose bumps on my arms just typing this. Cycling through Holland? Sweden? Hong Kong??? 😲 I have subscribed, and as it's raining out I am going to spend the evening on my stationary bike in front of the TV watching your other videos. I'm sure l will download a lot of those too, so I will have a library of inspiration at my fingertips even if our Internet goes down (we do get hurricanes here, but I have generator power so even without Internet I can still watch downloaded videos on my TV because the computer is connected to it)! OK... getting on my exercise bike now to spend the evening with you... 😊 🚴 🏰⛩⛲🌁🏙🌇🌉❤❤❤❤❤ !!!!!
Hi Donna! aw thanks for the lovely comment, glad you liked the film! Hope you enjoy the rest of them haha! I love making them, choosing music and stuff, nice. Yeh on this Wales ride I had thought of riding from London like you say, cos I thought that would be nice, riding door to door is always kind of satisfying. But it was really snowy with Met Office warnings and everything, so I shortened the trip, and booked a train ticket, cos I saw that the snow was going to melt so the roads would be clear, but still be snowy on the hills and look fantastic. I really wanted to see that. And as you saw it was a bit wet and cold and windy! But it all worked out great. Aw sorry to hear about your cancer. Hope your recovery going well and hope you're having lots of good bits this weekend. Sounds great that you are out there on your bike too! Thank you for watching and for the lovely comment! Keep going!! Happy cycling!

Wow! Susanna what a great video! And how much I enjoy your happiness about the smallest things like the nice views that you enjoy the most! So thanks! 🎉
Wahooooo! A great adventure and journey Susanna 🤗 Your confidence must have been soaring on reaching your sister in law!! Such a challenging journey on little wheels, a few gears and with Wales throwing it’s wintery looking showers at you 😎🎉 I can imagine those hills being uplifting and deadening at the same time 🫣 The difficulty and pleasure of your trip was clear!! Where to next? 🤩❤️
Hi Miriam!! aw yes already getting over the Berwyns day 2 was such a good feeling, like yay, I can! the next day the wind was just terrible and that was quite scary actually, but then day four when I was riding past that gorgeous lake on the way to the last pass, I felt soooo good, and so chuffed that - four days in - I felt so strong... Cos then I knew it was all gonna be OK, and I just loved it all, the climbing and everything. Love the feeling of being strong enough to deal with whatever comes, what a joy. Doing this ride has encouraged me a lot. Feels like all the little bits of going up the stairs and never taking the lift and the walking and running etc etc is working!!!! I am so grateful that I am able to do it all. You write such lovely things, thank you!! Best wishes from here in London where I am being quite lazy today better get up and go to the shops actually
I admire your bravery continuing on that journey with everything the Welsh weather threw at you. I would have given up! Thank you for taking us on your journey. The Welsh countryside is beautiful.

Wowsers. Incredible ride, especially with all your gear. I live in North Wales and know how tough riding a Brompton can be here. Very very impressed. An inspiration as always. Thank you.
Lovely film Susannah. Well done on completing it and battling the elements. You are really very hardy and resilient to contemplate camping in March in UK. Impressive!
Thank you for sharing your adventure, especially putting in the effort of filming yourself and then going back for your camera, i know those moment 😄. Fantastic film ❤ you made it!
I'm always impressed by your positivity in the face of adversity, Susanna but I'm amazed at how you manage to produce incredible meals whilst bike packing. On my trips I mostly subsist on a diet of flapjack and dodgy sausage rolls...
Loved loved loved! What an adventure. Nothing cozy about this one. Seeing you all alone on your Brompton slicing your way through cold and wet mountain passes was epic! I could not be happier for you to be out riding again. I hope you share a few of your travels with us.
Absolute total respect for this trip 👏 I live in Ruthin, North Wales and last August cycled from there to Cornwall and back to visit my family and friends. That was on a gravel bike with a bivvy. I did camp but needed to stay in the odd hotel / B&B. No cooking equipment taken. What you have done, camping, cooking and with such challenging weather, simply amazing. Lovely filming sequences as well. 😊
Hun,😊you have one heart like a lion to do this after your chemotherapy etc♥️♥️🇬🇧i take my hat off to you,, big style, ♥️♥️💕💕😊👍stay strong and positive and you will get there. Music and self conversation is so therapeutic and warm... 😉👌
Wow well done! Looks like a hard enough cycle in good weather, but hail and strong winds! So glad you are feeling well enough now to tackle something like this. I was in Snowdonia and Anglesey last June, so it was good to see that beautiful scenery again. Thanks so much for sharing your travels, your videos are really enjoyable.
Hi Lynne F! thanks for writing. Oh that sounds nice your trip last year. I hadn't been in Snowdonia since I was a little girl when we used to go to the Lleyn for summer hols (same as half of Manchester). I loved it then. I think I was really lucky that it was quiet when I was there doing this ride, so little traffic, just gorgeous. Glad you liked the film! Thanks for watching!
Hi Susanna, wow! I stumbled across your channel on my feed, I am a pretty experienced bikepacker and my feed has lots of bikepacking stuff I watch, so no surprise. The Bikepacking on a Brompton caught my eye and intrigued me. I loved this video and have now subscribed and will be going back through your catalogue Sweden, Hong Kong and the shorter stuff, mind blown, love your philosophy and hardcore attitude. The weather looked miserable in lots of this video but you kept on going and smiled. It exemplifies the quote I have tattoed on my forearm "Attitude is the difference between an ordeal and an adventure", something I try to live by. Plus the videos give me a taste of home being English but living in Australia. Thanks for some inspirational content. - Matt
Hi Matt! thanks for the lovely comment! aw yeh the weather was a bit mixed on this ride but I dont mind, just glad and grateful to be able to get out there again. Sounds like a good motto you have on your arm. Thanks for watching! hope you enjoy some of the other films too!
You should be proud completing that ride, it was an achievement by anyones' standards and a lesson in what the right attitude and determination can achieve. Well done you! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Absolutely inspiring. Next time I’m reluctant to get on my Brompton and go for a ride because the weather is a bit rubbish I’ll remind myself of this and everything else you’ve done ❤

OMG!!! “Resourceful” springs to mind, but doesn’t really describe your resilience and courage in atrocious conditions at times. Brilliant video, as ever, Susanna. You are inspiring a whole cohort of Brompton riders to be a bit more adventurous. Thank you. 🙏
I am planning cycling the rhine cycle route 1300km from source to sea over 2 weeks. I was going on my my dawes galaxy tourer but watching you has made me think that it would be easier to use a brompton( the initialand end train journeys would be easier logistically ) and i am staying B&B"s so less luggage. Well done you.. A joy to watch and listen to you.
Wish you all the best with health and travels 👍🏴
Amazingly wonderful to watch ! Thank you 😊
I'm always impressed by your positivity in the face of adversity, Susanna but I'm amazed at how you manage to produce incredible meals whilst bike packing. On my trips I mostly subsist on a diet of flapjack and dodgy sausage rolls...
haha oh I think that sounds pretty good, love flapjacks and sausage rolls too haha. And a flask of tea to wash them down, just the ticket!
Chapeau, Susanna!
Loved loved loved!
What an adventure. Nothing cozy about this one. Seeing you all alone on your Brompton slicing your way through cold and wet mountain passes was epic! I could not be happier for you to be out riding again. I hope you share a few of your travels with us.
Another wonderful and inspiring video. Many thanks
What a nice surprise tonight! And all the best from Hamburg! :)
You're an inspiration 🚵♂
Wonder Woman 😍💐🎊
Fantastic video as always. It always inspires me to plan a trip out when I see one of your videos!
Excellent video.. thank you..
Absolute total respect for this trip 👏
I live in Ruthin, North Wales and last August cycled from there to Cornwall and back to visit my family and friends.
That was on a gravel bike with a bivvy. I did camp but needed to stay in the odd hotel / B&B. No cooking equipment taken.
What you have done, camping, cooking and with such challenging weather, simply amazing. Lovely filming sequences as well. 😊
I loooove your video's Susanna! You really are an amazing woman! Greatings from belgium from a fellow brompton rider.
Awesome journey through many trial’s and you persevered and we’re successful and had fun!

A nice route with the wonderful Brompton. Greetings friend !!!
Hi and greetings to you too! thank you for watching!
You are quite simply a very inspirational person❤
Beautiful, inspiring video. You have great energy. Enjoyed watching!
Marvellous courageous woman.much to admire.😊
aw thanks Mick. I loved that ride, and I love watching the film too and remembering it
Hi Susanna, wow!
Another lovely and inspiring film Great music choices. So glad to see you are getting your strength back.
Another great adventure was cold watching it lol ….have binge watched most of your films over the past few days …brill channel 👍🏻❤️🚴
Yes, it looked really cold! It was a tough ride, Especially in late winter. Thanks so much for sharing!
Thanks for sharing. Lots of smiles and tough miles that could not be easy on a Brompton but you made it look easy. Happy travelling.
You should be proud completing that ride, it was an achievement by anyones' standards and a lesson in what the right attitude and determination can achieve. Well done you! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Chapeau your one bad ass great video. Chapeau
Absolutely inspiring. Next time I’m reluctant to get on my Brompton and go for a ride because the weather is a bit rubbish I’ll remind myself of this and everything else you’ve done ❤
aw thanks Tim I am just so glad, I dont take it for granted now, every day is a good day, every ride is another one squeezed in, another lovely thing I got the chance to do
Hello susanna i so enjoyed watching your ride to Anglesey you really do inspire me to keep going thank you so much 😊
Brilliant stuff. Loved this adventure. You're braver than me, with all that wet and cold. Thanks for sharing this adventure.
I am so in awe of your resilience and ebulliece, thank you for taking away any excuses I have to get out on my Brompton
Well done Susanna! Looked like a lot of hard work and tremendous effort - but you made it! Thanks for sharing another journey 🙏🏽
Simply inspirational ❤
You are an inspiration! Thanks for sharing your love for the ride. With a dreadful weather but always with a smile on your face. You are a truly warrior! Thanks from Portugal!
Mmmmm🤔
I love this channel. I wish I had your determination and grit! You're an inspiration.
