    I remember stumbling upon this Grand Ole Opry show in my early days. Nothing quite like it anywhere!

    They didn't call him Hylo (hi-low) Brown for nothing. Classic high lonesome sound for "Working on a Building." Thank you to all who have painstakingly preserved these clips and posted them for viewing.

      Yes, it is. He had had a new neck put on it with that silly looking inlay pattern. He said he didn't like it much after a while.

      Earl did have quite a few Bow ties throughout his life. I believe this was well after he had the bow tie neck on his Granada that would up warping. It could be, but I believe that was earlier on than this.

      ​@@dandeprop This would've been around 1962, after Curly Seckler left the band and a few years after Earl got the J.W. Gower neck put on his Granada
