A while ago I made a video in which I organised all of the books I wasn't sure whether to get rid of into a box. The idea was that in 6 months time I would go through the box, and see how I felt about them, having not had them on my shelves for the last few months. It's 8 months later, and I finally went through that box!

It is interesting to see other people’s thought process with decluttering books - I find it really hard but only with my ‘to be read’ books as it feels like a ‘waste’ and even if I have changed my mind towards a book what if I was missing out on a great book? I can only think of a handful of books I would ever want to try to re-read so if I have read them they can go - I don’t see any point in shelves of read books? I have worked in libraries for years so I don’t really want to live in one. My dream is actually to only have 1 shelf of unread books to choose from but I don’t know if I will ever get to that point as I cannot resist buying interesting looking books from charity shops
The sequel to Shades of Grey is out Feb 2024 (apparently), it's called Red Side Story. Although it's been so long I'll need to reread 😂
