Agreed. This just randomly popped up on my youtube feed. For some reason this shows up when I search for the band backseat lovers (I guess there's some similarities in their music), but hey, no complaints. Great music video and great song!
“Dear mother, I’m tired, I feel I’m over my head. I’m haunted, I’m wired; I only wanted yesterday” is a beautiful way to tie the ending to the beginning. You wanted the feeling of starting to walk again, as if it were yesterday. But now you’re in too deep. Just insane how good the writing is
I lost my entire bio family within the last two years. My mom died just a few months back. I held her hand the whole time. I can never get those moments out of my head. Im a father, and my son is too young to remember these people who loved him so deeply. Only pictures. This song makes me ugly cry, and miss my momma. Im tired.
Life is rough and sometimes it seems it manages to get even rougher. It's always just when you're the most tired that it hits the worst, it will get better though, stay strong brother. Even though your children will not be able to meet your loved ones in our physical world, take the love you can no longer share with your family and pass it onto your little ones so they can experience that strong love vicariously through you. I believe in you man!
It is what it is brother. You have to make the best out of it. It is good to have a song to take you back and relive your pain when you need it in the future.
