As long as as I have had a Google account (15 plus years) I can not believe I haven't gone through the entire process of setting up my accounts. These videos are greatly appreciated.
Thanks Steve for another great video. I've been using Gmail for years. I figured what could I possibly learn from a basic level video. Decided I'll watch it anyways while I'm doing the dishes. Surprise, surprise I learned something new today. Never knew I could recall an email. I will definitely be sitting up that feature today. Thanks again for teaching us old dogs new tricks.
This is great! We use Gmail for our Travel Agency and these tutorials reminded me of things and will be great to help my wife optimize our mail. I really appreciate it! Plus your tutorials are easy to follow and watch.
Thanks, Steve. Your video was very well done as usual. Within my Update tab, I get notifications of telephone calls and voicemails, library recommendations for next reads, daily post office deliveries, and certain newsletters. I did set a theme but I've redone it after I tire of it. I like the Undo feature. I'll go with your demo and change mine from 5 to 10 seconds. I look forward to your upcoming video on Google Calendar.
Hey Steve, As a newbie to all things Google you have been a life saver. This is a You Tube question. Is there a way to go to your channel and find all your teachings on a particular subject without having to scroll down the older lists. In particular I want to see what you have to say about a non-google product WordPress. Thank you.
Well done, Steve, and thanks for this series. I'm a long time Outlook user & therefore comfortable in that environment - even with gmail accounts. Given recent difficulties (pdf attachments not being received when sent using Outlook) I am gingerly trying Gmail instead. I am also of the school where, when I am comfortable using something i.e. Outlook, I am inversely uncomfortable not using it. So, again, my appreciation for this series.
Same here. Steve, could you give some guidance on how to merge Outlook into gmail. I don't want to change my well-established Outlook email address. I think there is a way to have them come over to Gmail from Outlook, but I don't want to mess up my current Outlook account. Thanks for this series!
Good Day. New addition to your viewers. Gobbled up a couple dozen of your videos already and zero'd in on your Google suite. Always looking to simplify my life by streamlining aps. Was wondering if there's any way to really manage email - as we can in, say, Outlook. Can I, for example Sort By Size, or by Sender, etc?
I am glad that I found your U-tube for G-Mail. Maybe I missed something but I do not know how to change from the old gmail to the new g-mail that was just started. I was away on vacation and did not have my computer with me so I obviously missed the day that the change occurred and how to change over What do I do? Help !
Great video as always! Question for all apple device users. Do you prefer using the Gmail app vs. setting up apple mail with Gmail? Please advise. Thanks .
George Gomez I have both iCloud email and Gmail accounts and run them both through the Spark email app. I highly recommend Spark as it has many more features than Apple mail app and is very easy to use. The Gmail app seems unnecessarily complicated to me. For what it’s worth, Spark links perfectly with Evernote making it very easy to forward emails into specific notebooks. I am always striving for inbox zero !
Hi Steve. Thanks. My gmail works perfect in the separate Google Gmail app but what If I want to add it to my iPhone all mail - I receive emails but when I send them, it goes to outbox. What’s wrong with my setup
Hi Steve, thanks for the video but I’m still confused why I can’t sign in to my RUclips account on my computer with my gmail can you please or try tell me how to fix this problem thanks
Good morning, thank you for the video, can we have a video on how to schedule an email to be sent with Gmail without using Boomerang, best regards or can you help me with it by explain it
i would recommend everyone who has an gmail account this video as must look. But i have one big problem with google account at my school. It is that most people do not log out from gmail. I could easily look on everything they have and have seen and logs and activity and accounts they have. Also i could change their paypal password. Google should do automaticalky logout after 1 hour or so. That is why i do not use google for important accounts. I made 2 factor authetification wirh my phone snd it still do not log me out after a time. That security is still then useless.
Hi Steve, to organise mails there are no folders, just labels. What do you think about it? At first I was against the use of labels instead of folders, but now that I'm using Gmail as my main mailserver I begin to like the label structure.
The main benefit imo of labels is that you can assign multiple labels to one email, which would be hard to do when you have your emails stuctured in folders. I also use labels as tags to easily search my emails. So you can set up a structure that resembles and looks like a folder (and subfolder!) structure but with all the benefits of searchable tags.
Steve, I seem to be missing the "Snoozed" feature on the left side of the Gmail window. A search of Google has some suggestions of how to get it to work but none seemed to work for me. Have you had any feedback on this missing feature??
Questions about adding different email addresses as reply from on my Gmail. On my desktop, I see all of my email address to reply from (I added a bunch) but on my iPhone, I do not see all the same email address to reply from. Some are missing on mobile. I have scrolled through all of the email addresses and still, some are missing that I can see on the desktop. Why is that? There is a special thing I need to do to my iPhone to allow other emails to show?
haha, "sender's remorse". I'm sure we all have a few emails we wish we could have pulled back from the ether before they landed in the recipient's inbox.

I am not a fan of Apple mail, so I use gmail
Nailhed 66 thank you for your reply, I’ll give Spark a test drive👍🏼
Yes, would definitely recommend Spark, so easy to file, (move) mail to folders, with ability to search for them if they don’t automatically appear.
Can you only set up in windows or can you set up gmail using iPad or iPhone ?

How do I deal with multiple Google accounts because of my different emails?

What can you do if your Google Gmail won’t take your forgotten password word and you reset it and it tell you it not the right password
BTW - typing gmail.com/app on an iPhone will result in the option to go to the iOS App Store for the Google Gail app.
