Good work dude. Keep grinding. I am 7 months into my second time learning guitar. I played for 10 years or so (age 12-22) having spent the last couple years stagnated and gave up. I was a decent player but i never took the time to actually learn the instrument and how music works. Now almost 20 years later i am focusing on the fundamentals and music theory. Doing so is much more fulfilling than just learning songs. I recommend learning CAGED, the circle of 5ths, memorize the fretboard, get some good method books. Do the hard work upfront and reward yourself with learning a song once a month. Im no virtuoso but my understanding of music and fretboard knowledge has been rapidly increasing and my playing ability steadily improving.
Also another good tip is GO OVER SCALES! Practice your pentatonic scale as it is the backbone of most songs. Great video!
Good call! That is also a very useful tip.

Nice man, it is very rewarding once you get past the initial hump of learning guitar!
