I like how you turned your rod 180 when you were landing that big one. It’s a technique that many don’t know. Many rod have been snapped close to the boat for improper handling. Great video Mr Ross. ❤

Hey Ross, I can definitely empathize, I visit my dermo annually. The last removal I had was a mole type basal cell right in the middle of upper lip which was hidden by my mustache. I've had many removals over the past twenty plus years on various areas of my face and upper extremities but that one was the most uncomfortable.

Good to have you back. Some really nice fish. Same for my area for redfish, no bait or mullet to be found either. Pretty strange.

Afternoon Ross! Good to see ya back. I’m paying now for my younger years in the sun. I’ve had so many basal and squamous cell cancers cut off my back, arms and face, i have lost count. Nice mess of trout you caught in the flats. Enjoyed the video and thanks for sharing. Safe travels my friend….

    Hey Brother
Really good to see you back. Been missing you.
Yes sir that Liq N2 is painful, plus you have to wait and see how well it worked. Then keep going back until they say it’s good.
Nice fishing vid - thank you and take care
    See ya on the water.

I really enjoyed the video. I believe that color is called Chicken on a Chain. We were fishing the upper laguna and using the exact same technique last weekend. Worked great and we left them biting. We only landed one red, they were being weird.

What’s that leader set up you’re running? What knots 🪢 do you like to use on your jig heads?
BTW, our trip to the Cabin was great. Caught a lot in Rocky Slough. Nice trip for sure.
