The fact that we're still asking about Augmentation should be concerning for blizzard. It was a success only in the way that 'people playing it = success.' While the reality is people play it because its still OP, and just outclassing Dev because of it's stupid buffing and utility. Evoker went from a 2 spec class to a 2 spec class in my mind. Aug is still OP and it's not too late to delete the spec.
Nahhh you trippin. The real issue is we need more support specs. People would be less upset with always seeing augmentation in a group if they made it so there was other options to pick for the support role. Meta became "at least bring 1 support". There is no going back now considering they made it function and fun for players. That box has been opened. It's best to focus on adding more support specs/classes to now create diversity in this category. That being said last I checked even in mythic+ there is a couple of groups in the top 25 that didn't take an aug. Props to them for not being meta slaves and showing it wasn't needed to be front page lol. Needed to be number 1 maybe. But unless you care about being number 1 it's not really that big of a deal. You can still get pretty up there without one.

It can create tension in groups if someone doesn't get it, it creates skewed logs, and some specs are even balanced around recieving it or not. They tried to make disc/holy into a more support like spec with the Oracle hero tree in the new xpac. It changed Power Infusion to be a sort of Prescience. People HATED IT with a passion, so much they had to scrap it and re-do it. 8 out of 10 people dislike Aug. If you like aug, cool, more power to you. However I think it's a horrible spec for a game that isn't designed to have support specs, because Aug was insanely OP for far too long. They still soak up a raid spot or two just because they exist, when Dev is a clearly better performing spec (from what i've heard from most evokers, dev is just a more fun spec, but they can't play it because aug exists). Also, to design this game for support specs, would require massive overhaul to a near 20 year old game, the likes of which has not been done, and will not be done. It would require not only massive overhauls to dungeons and raids, all the way from level 15 dungeons to max level dungeons/raids; it would require at least 5 brand new specs to be given it's own role. They won't convert current specs into support because that would be downright foolish as they would lose more players than they'd gain.

@@MrCarlWax Universal keys with no depletes. (change to whatever dungeon you would like) Keys not depleting will help players not playing meta specs. Less trash mechanics so mass pulling is fun.

Please make Pack Leader actually have a, you know... pack involved with it! Right now Dark Ranger, Far Seer, and deathknight summons more things than "Pack" Leader with their hero trees. So yeah thats my only gripe right now, other than that Hype!
Warrior and DK love affixes that they can't make - that's why no one needs them in dungeons - this is wonderful design, the best class and game design. It's all so refined, art for art's sake. And in fact, sometimes you don't want to start the game so as not to waste an hour or two waiting for an invitation to join on M+...thx devs !
Scrap Delves, Scrap rated brawls and do standard solo Q RBG. Scrap dragon riding, scrap hero talents as blizzard clearly cannot balance the regular talents. Improve class balance across PVP and PVE. Add more dungeons, add more PVP maps NOT PVP GIMMICK MODES. More capture the flag maps etc. Make the game fun. don't cater to players that have 3 hours a week to play an mmo. There is plenty more to fix after years and years of damage done to this game but this would be a great start!
