Great overview. I got the PTM 366 model a few weeks ago. There wasn't much content out there on this series in terms of reviews. It's a really impressive unit, though.

Any plans to review Iray RH25 or any of the bering optics thermals?
Probably not. There are already a bunch of videos. I like to do stuff that doesn’t have much or any content.
Also, been super busy working on the property on my time off. That’s the reason I haven’t been doing a lot content lately. Thanks for watching 🙏🏼

👍🏼They’re great devices and the removable battery is a big plus over most handhelds with internal only

Awesome video. Just like night vision started to 2 years ago, more and more people are starting to realize the utility that thermals offer. I'm just curious, what software do you use to edit these videos? They are well done compared to mine haha.

Hi, thanks for the video, can you put a time stamp on the exported video?
I don’t have the device in my possession anymore to verify but there is a time stamp option in the menu and I believe it will be recorded

@@Insectoidoverlords I got a DJI mini se about six weeks ago and I already have over 150 miles of flying in. The Mini 2 is better but for $300 the mini se is a great gateway drone. I’ve flown it further than 1,500m, I’ve crashed it into trees several times with no problems other than breaking a few props, 2.7k video at 30fps, and it just works great. Spend the extra money and get the charging hub and 2 extra batteries. I honestly don’t know how after watching footage from Ukraine that everyone doesn’t have one in their kit. It’s *almost* better than nods lol

Any experience with nocturn "katana" or "tanto" housings?
I have one. It's light but I've heard a mix of reports. I know one other person who had one as well, and got rid of it when it failed due to what he calls poor electronics. That said, mine works fine but I also built the housing myself and probably don't have nearly the hours on it he had.
Any plans for tnvc or you to carry/review Iray thermals?

Hi I have the 266 scion and I just got it back for the third time is there anybody out there having problems with the screen kind of going white you can still see objects in the distance but you can’t tell what they are at all it just kinda is going into a white out even all the different pallets and now I think my warranty is up now I don’t know what I should do it and it’s doing it again and I do I have two of the extra batteries and it seem like they got my unit really hot my Sion got really hot I don’t know if I can get my money back or ask for a different model what do you think I should do anybody out there got any ideas I really love it we have cows and you know it’s a good thing but I need something reliable if I send it back now this will be four times in a year and I made a new bag so it sits right by my heart because the bag that comes with his junk it always slips out when you bend over and just not a good bag so I have a really good bag that sits right by my heart and under my armpit. At flair they always give me a run around and it takes them forever to get me my unit back last season we had two cows pass away I couldn’t get out there in winter time and check it out I just want a unit that works I take care of this thing like you wouldn’t believe I can’t see spending $3000 and not taking care of it I don’t even let anybody Use it because I don’t want it broke or scratched or messed up if anybody knows anything about taking it back or getting a new one or upgrading it or get my money back let me know because mine certainly go out again I think it’s the battery the new battery that come with the new I am cute all in one battery I bought two of them so I can have 20 hours of video running all the time and it shuts off on me like every 3 to 5 minutes it’ll shut off on me I went through the settings and I can’t get it to stop please if anybody can help me I appreciate it big time.My name is David

It has no focus ring on the front lens?
Not on this model of SCION (PTM166). The OTM/PTM 366 has a focusable lens

@@cpm-3374 yes, it will get blurry up close but not bad until closer than about 10 yards or so
