Yesss. 100% it's better in your 30s man. I hated travelling in my 20s - wasn't ready for it. Wasn't mentally there. But now there is less life left, each moment means more.

A Thai person here, glad to see you enjoy living in Thailand. Thailand will be your paradise if your income is from the West, and you will have more savings than living in the West. However, you need to plan for your retirement to be eligible for a full pension from your National Insurance contributions.
