This book's twist and ending is a hard punch on the feels. I mean seeing it like this makes it funny but when you're involved with the characters it kinda hits you hard. Gotta give Brandon the credit.
I remember when I was reading I was so sure bleeder was going to confront Wax in Lessie’s skin and felt so vindicated when it happened… and then it turned out she was Lessie the whole time and she still was “Lessie.” Completely suckered me. I thought I was so smart too 😂
Lol, your comedic timing is so spot on 😂 Great work on this one! On a slightly unrelated note, the Shadows of Self finale completely broke me on reread…
Oh, yeah, it's a doozy. And the way the book ends with Wax just crying while Steris holds him... Definitely one of the darkest endings to any Cosmere book.
@@genericallyentertaining Yes! Especially for a character like Wax, who hardly shows any emotion throughout the whole series... then to see him wrecked like that... Oof.
I like to imagine that Brandon has one person that comes up with all the names for his books, and Alloy of Law and Shadows of Self came about because they couldn't keep up with Brandon's output. -So you've heard my ideas, but I'll leave it up to you and your expertise. -ALLOY OF LAW -Whoa, you kind of just blurted that out. -No no. Market research. Consumer polls. Search engines analysis . . . release me. -What was that last part? -I said trust me.
Kelsier: I lost my wife
Dalinar: I killed my wife
Wax: I killed my wife twice
Sazed: I killed his wife twice
man I haven’t finished reading oathbringer yet this sucks kinda
You know it's getting good when the villain monologue starts with "We live in a society". Always a classic

Agreed, it's a gut-punch of a book.
@@genericallyentertaining it really leaves you feeling like a shadow of yourself.
... Wait ...
It would have hit hard, if i hadn't seen it coming

"I talked to god earlier today and he's actually a really chill guy" 🤣
These sketches are my preparation for when the lost metal comes out
That's more-or-less the reason I'm making these!
Doesing the having of will free?
The Lord Mistborn truly was a great philosopher.
@@genericallyentertaining wasing the want of truthing wass
Honestly Shadow of Self had the most plot twist of all time.
Yes, that was truly a shadow of self
"I talked to God earlier today and he is actually a pretty chill guy" is now one of my favourite sentences ever
Who needs to re-read 6 books before lost metal when you can save time and just watch these 2 min recaps! :-D
Lol, your comedic timing is so spot on 😂 Great work on this one!

@@genericallyentertaining Wait till the Stormlight 5 ending. I have a feeling that one could be extra dark.
My favorite part is as when he said “it’s shadowing time” and selfed all over the place
Bruh imagine being Wax and having God Literally force you to have character development LOL
As someone who believes in God it happens more than I would like
Awesome, though Steris was remarkably chill, all things considered.
I'm glad these exist. I don't have time to reread mistborn before w&w 4 comes out.
just finished this book and... yeah this is spot on
"They had it coming for them"
"Uhmm... no?"
This was the best twist. 💔
We live in a society
glad for this great man reminding me of everything happening in Mistborn before the next book comes out. i really need it lol
Oh no. Wait till he reads the lost metals
the best part of my day is that I've stumbled across these vids... great skit!!!

"Lessie?"
Lol excellent!
Banger, this one
Yeah. I mean... It was a weird book ok?
Definitely one of the wildest plot twists in the Cosmere, imo.
Wooh Prufrock Prep!
Lessie was just displaying her school spirit, (a phrase which here means: "the belief that one particular school is better than another school.")
Great skit, so funny.
So funny, I love it!
🔥🔥🔥
I can't tell if you like Brandon Sanderson
Good skit!
I love brandosando but the villain deciding to call themselves bleeder was dumb as hell
Loved this 😂 When are we getting BoM in a nutshell?
I plan to have it finished by the end of this week! Definitely before the Lost Metal comes out.
Awesome! Thank you :)
Yeah, but like, Trell?

Oh it's funny
