MSI MSI GL63 MS-16P7 Gaming Top & Bottom Cover Replacement

Replaced both Top Cover & Bottom Cover on MSI GL63 MS-16P7.
I had to melt several plastic tabs securing the keyboard on the body after removing all the parts including Motherboard, Heatsink, Solid State Drives, LCD Screens, Speakers, and the glued Touchpad board.

thanks , i was thinking of buying body and replace it myself but now i think i will put superglue on old one.😂😂

hows the glue? should i give it a try? the case swapping is brutal

@@philippkolychev9158 when looking at cost of new body(there's no part of my laptop body which is not broken, maybe msi made it from poor material) i applied super glue in form of small dots in short distances. Its good. As its always stays at home I don't care if it's not fancy anymore after 5 years.

Wow. I was going to replace my upper cover - but I guess I'll leave it cracked. I even bought a replacement. This looks like a total bear to replace....don't think I'll buy an MSI again.

I have a msi gv 62 vr
My body is completely broken and i cant find the body of the same model can i use the different model body because most msi laptops look same body plz need confirmation because in my area there is not much availablity i would have to buy the different model body grom online

I don't think another body will fit your model. The shape, size, and structure of each model are very different. You are better off somehow gluing the body if you can't find the parts.
However, have you checked eBay & AliExpress for the Palmrest Cover and Bottom Base for MSI GV62VR?
