- Hello everyone! Roxane and I are right back to work on the MYSTERY project haha. We seen some pretty good guesses in the last videos comments, We will say this, some of you guys " might " be correct. This has been a really fun project for Roxane and myself. A covered swing for the old folks to rest and watch the kids fish.
That's what I'd do with it. We always had a swing in back of the house by the creek. You talk about relaxation Oh my just swinging and listening to the water flowing. What a beautiful thing. 🥰

Guys your shelter/gazebo/picnic shelter whatever it is looks awesome but I saw it shaking when you were on top of it and I understand you don't want to veer from the plans but there is always improvements you can do like putting silicone between each roof board and a brace or 2 wouldn't hurt
I made my guess too early(thinking it was a covered swing) it’s a covered picnic table(which is what I thought when u first put the material’s together!!)

YOU COULD EASILY PUT A LENGTH OF FLASHING ACROSS THE PEAK. IT REMINDS ME OF ONE OF THOSE PAGODAS THEY HAVE A THE LAKE WITH A PICNIC TABLE UNDERNEATH.....LOOKS NICE WHATEVER IT'S GOING TO BE USED FOR....😊😊

Now that the pond is cleared so nicely, have you thought about putting a bridge over the wet weather creek?

I guessing it’s a shelter with a built-in picnic table. Good design but maybe add some brackets at some point to help solidify the structure, or at least some corner braces. Pond is looking awesome and this shelter will make it even more enjoyable 😊

As you build I am guessing that this will be a covered area with bench seats on each side. A shade hut so to speak.
I do believe you are building a covered picnic table. In one of the videos when you all were starting to clear the banks of the pond, you told Mel and Gary you all wanted to put a picnic table in that area. And why not a covered picnic table???

On one of your scrap pieces, try some motor oil and test for water proofing, on the farm we would use used oil on racks and wagons, but dirty until soaked in, synthetic blend responds a tad bit different than the older oils
It’s a storage shed to keep your fishing rods and supplies in for the pond and a few lawn chairs to sit in while you are fishing

wow i am never surprised anymore of the great work that is done and completed, on the 41.36..Its lovely to see the builds all done so well, and placed in very good areas not just a rough thing put up in a random place on your property. I have to admit that all the additions you all have done, are well built and are made to fill the particular home and need for each of the animals and fowl you have, some others i have watched tend to be rather random, not keeping things nice and tidy., or well built, so its been a pleasure to watch you all plan and then act and complete very well, all of your projects to improve and make the vision you have, become a reality. Shelter for all the fishing equipment to be put in and chairs to sit in. That way you don't have to carry it back and forth.

I truly enjoy following and watching CRC/Roxanne and Anthony as you continually to develop your homestead and land. The way you build and plan around the property and landscape of your surroundings is spot on, you have created “picture frames” of the best views to enjoy no matter where you turn. I don’t know what you are building, but whatever it is, it will the perfect idea for this idyllic piece of paradise. ❤

I think it's a shed for rakes and such to keep the pond area clean. I believe you mentioned it in a previous video. Great job with the pond, it looks wonderful.
If it were mine, I’d want a swing and beautiful cushions.
It could be many things, a covered picnic area, a swing, or a storage place for fishing stuff. I'm leaning more towards a picnic area.
A bait & tackle store? You can call it Tackle Dome. Could it be for ducks? Ducks at the pond could use a house.

You could put a moulded piece of tin roofing on the very top middle seam!! I think it’s a place to hang out and have lunch ,a break from the sun
Hey guys. Try using camphor, or camphopinique (sic) on your skin to keep redbugs/chiggers off your skin. My mother used that on us as kids to keep those and tics off of us . Usually around the tops of our socks, waistband, collars etc. They hate the sruff. Good luck

I think it’s a covered picnic table. You’ll have shade and be able to sit around and talk. Fully relaxed.
It would be nice when visiting the pond to have storage for chairs and fishing poles etc. This little building would be perfect for that!

If you do a log cabin keep in mind you want the logs to set out a long time on a relative flat surface to dry so I would plan on cutting them a year out...or so

It’s looking really good. You’ll probably end up doing another small thing for other needs that you will have around the pond. Some thing I noticed when you were clearing the brush and trees around the pond is that you can see where the water has risen in wet years, and I’m curious if your Little building will face submersion or immersion if we get a wet year this winter, etc.?

Anthony to keep away from the steel and make it all wood, what if you took a 4 X 4 and gutted it out in a "V" shape and nailed it over the peak? Just a suggestion, looking real good .GOD BLESS from your Canadian friend.

You may conclude similar to SLR on the log cabin efforts. Although you won’t be under a timeframe constraint like they felt.

Are you gonna put any kind of anchors since you didn’t cement anything ibecause when you were up on the roof, it look like it was kind of wobbly. And since you have Highwinds at times, you don’t it into the pond. So far it looks great. I mean I can call it a shed but it’s probably called another name. I guess we all have to wait.❤

I’m gonna take another guess before you get any further and say it’s going to be a little storage building to keep chairs and fishing poles and fishing supplies in. Thought maybe a covered swing to sit on and overlook the pond but not sure of that. Well since you said only two more things it’s definitely not going to be a storage building so I guess we will see what it turns out to be.

The leaves are beautiful on the mountain. In my yard in Indiana most of the leaves are on the ground now.
