I watch a RUclips channel called "Clever Solar" and I bought his book. The channel and the book are chuck full of useful information.

"Clever Solar" I will have to look it up - sounds like a good read! Thanks!

Couple of observations...Your panels aren't 'pulling' the wattage, they are converting the light into electricity and 'pushing' it into the power station. The reason they didn't work with your EB70 in series is that you were overloading the EB70's rating Solar charging rating of 28V max and the overload kicked the input off. By adding the two panels in series, the voltage is additive You had 26.1V +18V =54.1V going into the EB70 and it said Nope!. The AC180 will take up to 60V solar input and that's why your series setup worked. You did get the combined 138W so that is as expected. The differences in output has almost nothing to do with the 18V vs 36.1 V differences in operating voltages. The CROS has slightly more surface area than the Bluetti and the remaineder was due to the cells. The CROS is better in low light because of the polycrystalline cells and I expect them to both be similar on a bright June AZ day. Thanks for posting this and I hope my comments helped.

Thank you so much for the solar panel feedback - I’m learning more and more about this as time goes by and I appreciate it! Funny thing, the Bluetti panel (by itself) has better specs than the CROS and cost considerably more - but the CROS panel does equally as well in the field for me! Thanks again 😉

The test results will not be compatible unless you clean the Bluetti and yes it does matter if it dirty.

What extension cord are you running from the Blueitti to the solar panel what connector on each side?

Mc4 extension cables (red/black) to the 8mm - Amazon carries several different types and lengths
