Hey just a heads up! You can fit most boxes in the regular flat rate envelopes! Which would save you some money and then you wouldn’t have to use plastic. Just look up the different ways you can fold them

Beautiful boxing. Very professional, simple, elegant and clean. I pay a lot of attention to details and I see you do too, like the little sticker to hold the wrapping paper close, the little treat, the personal note on their order copy and the stamp on the box. Just beautiful. I would be happy to receive my order in this presentation. I'm just sad that I cannot order your soap because I'm in Canada. Hopefully down the road that will change. Keep up the great work Ellen. I can only dream to one day get to where you are in your business adventure.

I use several different wrapping options, depending on the soap. I use kraft paper wraps, shrink wrap and kraft boxes...

The soap Bundles are only available a few times a year. And the little samples come with every order

Yes, they're all cold process. I use the shrink wrap on some because of the "fancy" tops and such...

A BIG THANK YOU for sharing this! I have been soaping for 9-10 years and have only sold at shows. I am now in the process of making it my business. The shipping part is where I am lost as far as the cheapest shipping I can do for my customers.
Do you go to the PO once a week and do all the weekly orders or daily?
And is it a flat rate on all packages?

The flat rate envelopes are the cheapest way to ship most often

Silly question but how do you set up your soap samples to cure? Lie them flat? Being so small do they still take 4-6 weeks to cure? Thank you :)
I sort of half stack them, like tipped over dominos, and they cure very will that way.
Beautiful packing.... do you ever have issues with soap bars melting or deforming when it is hot like it is in the soith now?
I haven't had any issues.. After a full cure, the soaps ship really well in all weather.
@EllenRuthSoap nervous since I am in South Texas and we have HOT weather now. Upper 90s and the feel like temps are around 110-117 degrees. Since the coconut oil begins to melt at 76 degrees, ... we do not even get that low at night. With a few days shipping, I am worried it would melt
Handmade soap doesn't melt, unless you use melt&pour. It does get sweaty though, but that's just superficial.
@sephineminien3230 my concern was coconut oil that has a melting point of 76. So that changes after the shaping process?
@@HollywoodMGB3 Yes, when the oils are saponified, they dont melt, unless you put them in a hot pot. They can get sweaty or greasy with humidity though.
Are you moving to the shrink wrap, or away from?
I use both, I like the shrink wrap for the "showy" bars and paper for the more "natural" ones... 😉
Ellen... What are those small packets which says Thankful or Triple Butter or Rainforest or Midnight... Are they sample soap pieces ..?
Yes, those are sample soap that I put in with all my orders

THANKS for a lovely video without excessive chatter!, my hubby actually watches &these ones* with me! Says he can't stand the non stop talking in some of the others . 😄😲😘🤔fair enough, me neither. Love Ophélia, she dies what she's doing, you want to learn more, ask her publicly, or email privately, mist siapers are happy to share! But non stop blatgering just ti full in the back griund silence drives away more people than it keeps! I kniw tgere are a few channels i fillow, where hitting the mute button, as soon as tge videio begins to olay, has become habitual, and ive missed sime tips because of it. Dissappointing, no doubt, but not enough to listen to *hours* of drivel or giggles to pick up that one hidden pearl!
