Falken Azenis RT615K+ Tire Review

When I purchased my Fiesta ST preowned around 1.5 years ago, the Ford dealership put on some basic all-season tires before selling it to me. After many canyon runs, those all-seasons had seen much better days and had no grip left in them.
Thanks to Vivid Racing and Discount Tire Direct, I purchased a set of 215/40/r17 Falken Azenis RT615k+ for a great deal. Here's my full review. Drop a comment down below if you actually read this description ;)

The tires look stretched at 215 in width. is there not a 225 avalible?

I have these on my Fiesta ST and they are great. I’m about to replace them with the new Azenis rt660’s. Hopefully they will be as good or better.

They're summer tires, so they definitely didn't perform particularly well in wet conditions.

Depends on the car I assume, my modded miata doesnt slip in the rain with these. Snow is a different story lol

​@@4door_papi This class of summer tire tends to struggle in the wet, just due to a lack of tread grooves and the cooling effect. Wet performance tends to be much better with tires a class "lower".

One thing to remember with a Fiesta ST is that it's FWD with a big slug of low-end torque, so it'll stress those front tires a lot on corner exit. A tire that can put down anything 2nd can give it in a FiST is going to handle a BUNCH of power in a RWD car.

Im getting the yokohama advan a052's over these. Superior in every way, the azenis is still a decent tire for the price though.

We get optional Recaros in both Fiesta and Focus ST models. My Focus ST has Recaros.
