Who's Arsenal's best signing under Edu?
1. Odegaard
2. Gabriel Magalhães
3. Zinchenko
No Saliba? @@cryptofpl
Saliba is not a Edu signing... @@StatmanDave
White Rice 🍚 the best❤
Martinelli. People dont know for what money we got him. He is a beast now.
Glad to see Edu get the recognition he deserves!
He has been class.
Yeah i have to agree with everything you've said. They stunned me last year. I never saw that super fast improvement coming. Also, last year at the end, Saliba was a massive miss and Arsenal needed that security. But now they need to find the new Ian Wright somewhere in the world. That devastating box striker. But that's easier said than done!
its crazy how arsenal became a serious club after just one good season. If you go back to may 2022 when arsenal missed out on top 4 if someone were to tell me a year later arsenal would mount a title challenge with pretty much the same squad and would be attracting big names in like rice timber havertz etc I wouldve laughed straight at them
All in the quality long term plan Arteta and Edu have put together.
From Jan 2nd 2021(after adding Smith Rowe and Odegaard) to end of the 21/22 season Arsenal had accumulated 8 more points than Spurs and had been in the top 4 xG table of the 21/22 season, the numbers had been indicating their trajectory for a while
@@dondaddanThey never "added" Smith Rowe. He's an academy product. But he came back from injury.
@@therealking6202 ESR first league appearance is Vs Chelsea Dec 26 2020.Following Arsenal's worst league start in decades,[26] manager Mikel Arteta entrusted Smith Rowe with the number 10 role, replacing Willian on 26 December against London rivals Chelsea, to inspire a 3-1 home win to end the club's poor run of form. Odegaard first appearance for Arsenal is a month later Jan 30 vs Man Utd, but by mid Jan it was evident that Arsenal had turned to the next phase of winning or drawing the tight games they had been previously losing 1-0, ie they had lost 2 games to Wolves where Wolves had a total of 3 shots in two games and 6 points, 2 were penalties and 1 was an OG
@@dondaddan That changes nothing. He's an academy product.
Arsenal became a serious team again when Mustafi left 😅
And David luiz😂
Wtf 😂😂😂
I remember some clown on X going by the moniker "Goatstafi".
hahahahh
Dont forget willian guys 😂
People finally recognized Edu’s work 👏
Same reason why EtH has been stylishly asking for a DOF
Absolutely
I want that striker to be someone unknown that's been scouted thoroughly
That would be very smart. My voice would be Boniface or Orban.
Thierry Henry doesnt grow on trees
😅
He meant, he wanted Mikel to mould a random someone into the perfect target man, just like he did with Martinelli and Gabriel for example.
Love it.
Dave, I think you've got the most balanced and insightful analysis that I've come across.
Excellent content man. 👌
I always love the videos on Arsenal 👌
Cheers Anthony.
it excits me to watch our games now more than ever but i must admit this season has started shakey in games where we should be clear.
Difficult with the timber injury imo
Arsenal hasnt lost a game this season, no need for panic
We didn't get our second gear yet!!I mean it midfielders have not understood one another yet, then there's come and out of box to box midfielders (sometimes plays Rice, sometimesKai,ESR,Fabio).... Tell you what!!!Once the team got the second gear broda it is gonna be a f** storm out there
That's a really detailed but brief video, Dave.
good review, i subscribe because of this content
Good video Statman dave , I would like to see one video about liverpool , they look good and have started very well
I know everyone knows we need a striker but the thing is it’s not easy to play in our system the reason why Lacazette struggled in our team and is now banging in goals at Lyon is the same reason Jesus and Neketiah struggle because a lot of teams play low block against us a lot of the chances they get aren’t clear one on ones. Also you have to work hard a lot of the ball and press aggressively that when you do get a chance you’re knacjed and your decision making suffers when you’ve been running at 100 miles for a while. That’s why I believe it’s not as easy as getting a good striker and we’re atomatically banging in goals
Not totally correct: this season and last it has been clear that Arsenal need a dominant striker to put away the many chances usually created and who doesn't keep dropping back to the halfway line to be part of the midfield play when we are on the offensive (as we still see with Jesus and Nketiah). Arsenal also needs to take chances with shots rather than overplay the ball in the opponent's 18-yard box - always trying to score the perfect goal - sometimes just take the shot and follow up the spills and rebounds as seen with other teams every week.
Again, really good show! Arsenal at Villa should be good game👍this Saturday!
That backline is 👌🏻
Were back baby
LET'S GOOOO
All we need now is a top class striker.. COYG!
It's a struggle against Liverpool and City because they both have great striking options. Arsenal are missing the striker. Is Osimhen too expensive at 150m euros? Maybe Toney would be the right balance of talent/form and price?
Think they'll struggle in the EPL this season without that striker giving them the "easy goals" option as well as the "hard worked goals" option they were brilliant at last year. Maybe with their squad depth they can however win a cup or two......
Unlike Neo, Toney isn't The One. Arsenal need a Champs League, or at least a European football, proven Striker. A solid, hungry No.9
Toney would be very interesting
remove Liverpool from there, they have no goo dm and there defines isn't as solid as it once was. the title race is between city an arsenal like last season
Vlahovic 100%
12:37 Don’t know how you can confidently say arsenal won’t get him lol. Probably one of the most likely clubs for him to go to if he leaves next year.
Great video. I agree with everything you've said with the exception of your statement
"taking raw talents like Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka and shaping them into the two best wingers in the premier league"
Now I'm an Arsenal fan but I still think Salah is a better RW than Saka and I also think Rashford is a better LW than Martinelli. Don't get me wrong, I adore Saka and Martinelli though.
You ain’t Arsenal fan 😅
@@LongHitlol like you get a say on who I support. Been a gooner for 25 years
Martinelli miles better than rashford, any winger willing to track back is better than rashford
yes we agree
Arsenal will become a serious club when we stop signing Chelsea rejects, and stop extending contracts to average players, Get our priority signings in like we did with Declan and win a European Trophy
the strikers that suit Arsenal profile are just 2 in world football, those are Rafael Leao amd Evan Ferguson, not Toney, not Osimhen, not Watkins,
Surprised we didn’t go for a striker in the summer. Trying to understand whether this is because they have personal terms agreed with certain players for the winter? 👀👀👀
The best video have came across today
Thanks Sandra
🎉 I like your content.
Edu wasn’t involved in any signing in the summer of 2020.
Mate you need to be a manager tactical you are a genius.
We still need to win trophies consistently to have our Arsenal back. Otherwise its the late 2000s all over again
If we get ivan toney that will complete us
Sokratis 😂😂😂😂😂
Must have enjoyed the 1st half of Brentford game.
JAYsus not HEYsus, he's not Spanish.
The day Cedric leaves my club we’ll be a serious club
".. I just stumbled across the bosses (Wenger) forgotten safety volt💰2014,2015,2017 FA Cup bonus cheques💰... " -Edu Gaspar 😁💰💰
Call me a dreamer, but Arteta obviously has a lot from Guardiola and Wenger, but this team above all focus reminds me a little of Ferguson as well. I'm sure Arteta will manage a club recognised as the best team in the world one day. If that is arsenal i cannot predict, but one can be hopeful hehe
Why won't Arsenal get Osimhen? We have shown recently we are willing to spend big, and Osimhen is having issues with Napoli.
As much as I hate to say it, Arsenal won’t pay his salary. That is an extremely expensive signing with ludicrous weekly payments. I thoroughly believe there are better value-for-money strikers out there.
Money is not the issue we will sign a striker from brazil or Brighton for almost the same amount of money
Nah we aint seriously competing with City, RM et al. NET SPEND 120m is not getting us close. Jorginho, Havertz, Elnenny in our squad. Plus Cedric.
We will win nothing again. And continue to do so. No striker no RW cover, paper thin squad.
Need 5 world class signings to compete on 4 fronts. Not gonna happen
Why won't Arsenal get Victor Osimhen? That doesn't seem obvious to me given the recent issues he's having with Napoli.
He doesn’t want to come to arsenal. It’s either Madrid or united for him. And honestly, he is a bit of a gamble. I’d take him in an instant but the difference between the contributions of Toney vs oshimen for us won’t be that huge
@@ezanagebrehiwot3171Ivan Toney really underated, singing him for below 60m will be smart business
@@Miloaistabur41 yeah Toney is a realistic signing. He wants to come to Arsenal (he was practically begging us to sign him) and he is a good fit as well. Let’s see what edu and arteta would do
@@ezanagebrehiwot3171why the hell would osimhen go utd
Arsenal is serious club right now you should focus on how manchester united should become a serious club
Cool. Now do Chelsea 😅
Ozil was banned because he didn't agree with players taking a pay cut when savings could be made elsewhere, not because of his performance. Ozil was lauded by Arteta when he arrived and the team remained unbeaten - bar one (iirc) when Ozil played (except when they were beating Chelsea IIRC before Arteta substituted him and Arenal conceded a goal). Opta stats also suggested that under Arteta, Ozil was in the highest bracket of distance covered by players per game. And it should be remembered that, at the time, the Arsenal 1st team were still carrying inadequate/underperforming players like Mustafi, Kolasinac, Sokratis, Iwobi, Ceballos, Bellerin, Luiz, Maitland-Niles and Mkhitaryan, which made life harder for offensive players like Ozil.
Arsenals' Manager, Footballing Director and CEO doesn't get enough credit.
Man Utd owners should learn from these people or just sell it to someone who cares.
I will prefer a unknown striker, younger to fit the average age in the squad.
Ivan Tony over Osimhen!
Ozil was scapegoated for his comments on uygour* musilms in china
Arsenal are a serious team? 😂
That’s not why Ozil was excommunicated, it was because he spoke out about China’s genocide and concentration camps against Uyghur Muslims. And they didn’t want to lose out China’s investment/income.
no because ozil was old washed and on high wages
Can we just say in the world because let’s be honest where else would there be better players then europe
Arsenal will be a serios only after a win in something
☝️💪
Arsenal; would you like to take a voluntary pay cut?
Ozil; voluntary?
Arsenal; that's right
Ozil; ok then no thanks.
Arsenal; ok no problem. just one more thing. Your career's over goodbye.
A certain blonde “Arsenal fan” will you were not good cause we haven’t won the treble under arteta yet
ozil got phased out because he condemned the actions of china against muslims
we wont win shit with nkethi as cf and jesus injured 20 out of 38 games
We are not serious as yet bro, not with the mediocrity an arrogants of Mikel arteta, he don't listen to the voice of the fans, u can't trying to win a league and sign harvert, when u got xhaka, burella maddison savic and many more
Bitter fan ... the real ones are singing everyday... Arteta is doing his job
Stop copying Bhavss14’s thumbnail template bro
not near a serious club yet though
It took finishing 8th twice!!! then finished 6th place before they got 2nd but won nothing!!!!
(Sigh !)United fan I presume 🤦♂️
It's all about building momentum Chris.
@@StatmanDaveThat is the issue i have with other fans. They refuse to put things into context. Like you said it was all about building momentum and it took lots of planning to get them to where they are now.
1 Fa Cup. 1 Community Shield, and then finishing positions of 8, 8, 5, 2. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the progress here or the direction this club is heading.
You can't triple stamp a double stamp. Lloyd, you can't triple stamp a double stamp!!!
Clubs at the rop win trophies ,arsenal dont do that
I can never take arsenal seriously while they play continue to play Gabriel and keep buying discount premiere league players that cost too much money
What’s wrong with Gabriel?!
Gabriel Martinelli or Jesus or Meghaeles?
We will become serious again when our manager stops playing Kai havertz in our 1st 11, period 😢
Cry more
Arsenal is not a serious football club.🤦♂️
I don't know about serious club. But I will tell you that they're going to seriously struggle this season to get top 4. Too many injuries, fatigue and lack of depth in critical areas of the pitch is poised to make this a very discomforting season.
Arsenal will get top 4 extremely comfortably
Mate, last match they brought Partey, Tomiyasu, Havertz and Martinelli off the bench. Saka didn't play. Arsenal's depth is fantastic; they just need a top striker and they're winning the League.
Thr words 'arsenal' and 'serious club' do not go together.
Skysports website constantly has a ManureUrine Marinated player infornt of ither players in their thumbnails. This seaso they have haaland in front with maddison (cos he gone to spurs) caicedo and i think trashford.
No Rice or any other Arsenal player.
Then there is another thumbnail with the team emblems/badges .....all PL teams in alphabetical order......but no Arsenal on it.
Skysports we dont pay your bs services anyhow so P off ya maggy corrupt c'ts!!
😂😂😂😂😂
