Nice to se any group from that era NOT lip-syncing but actually singing/performing their song, live onstage. Very nice, never seen them before, liked it a lot!
Must have seen these guys half a dozen times back in the 70s Wakefield theatre cub Batley variety club stardust show bar in Brighouse Talk of Yorkshire Bradford they played them all absolutely jam packed every place these very talented lads played they had it all great singer great musicians and genuinely funny act what happened to entertainment we had it all back in those days
Hi Martin Thanks for the lovely comments about our band it's really nice to hear. We always put 100% into the music, and the comedy and the hard work paid off

Nice of you to notice it was live. So much stuff WAS lip synced in those days (and now !)
Loved them. Seen them live a few times and they were top class.
Great happy cheery song no auto cue no fillers or back ups pure nostalgia thanks for a great upload made my day

because he sang the original....this is a really bad cover

This is why I used to take the piss out of Opportunity Knocks , and little did we know about Hughie Green !
What's wrong with Opportunity Knocks? That was a great show back then
Hughie Green was "at it " Mike from a young age, colourful, some folk may say, others would say a dirty bas---- !

Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods

Daniel Boone recorded beautiful sunday in the late 60s
Never heard about this band...I remember this song from another band "Daniel Boone" did this in the 70s.....
Nice little song
I'd rather have Candlewick Green than Hughie Green any day.
Hughie is your Dad
I'd rather have a candlewick BEDSPREAD than Hughie Green, one of the nastiest men in showbiz.
We played this at school dance parties but based on Daniel Boone's version , a bit slower.
Not bad at all good performance thankyou.
sounds good
Didn't someone named Daniel Boone do the original version of this?
Yes, he co-wrote it with another writer in 1972. Before that, in 1971, he had a hit with 'Daddy Don't You Walk So Fast'.
Wish i was a grown up at that time. Today's screwed....
I actually have Who do you think you are, on my saved list on you tube. Forgot about this one tho

Correct. Their choice of name was inspired by "Camberwick Green", according to their Wikipedia entry.
Cue Jack and Victor doing the slosh
