- Taking one more look at the grabber blue Mach1 that I love so much! The person who custom ordered this Mach1 has backed out so now it's available for sale. Car does not have the fender guards installed and the shipping blocks are still holding up the coil springs. If I didn't already have so many cars this might be possible but things aren't as good as they were a few years ago so it's not a good idea for me to buy a car right now. I would have to give my Mustang GT and $40k to have this car. Inflation and a downtrending economy made this a no go.

Hi all! My local dealership contacted me and said the person who custom ordered this grabber blue Mach1 backed out and wanted to know if I wanted to buy it. It's too expensive for me but I couldn't help but go back and look at it one more time! It probably won't last long so this is probably goodbye forever! Let me know what you think of the Mach1. Go for it man!! I'm in the same position I found one supposedly it was sold, the guy backed out. It's been sitting there for three weeks. Black, Tremec, Recaro's, must be the same options msrp is high 67's the last couple weeks I kind of forgot about it and then today I started watching a couple videos and now I feel like I got to have it! 51 yrs old and might have to call mom to barrow the down payment for a couple months. Just took the family to Aspen for a week what a waste that would have been my DP. I think I might have to make the call tomorrow. It's such a bad ass car! And if we wait (people like you and I) there going to be gone. And by the time the dark horse comes out Chevy and Dodge will already be rechargeable so everyone will want the Ford and dealer mark up will be insane. I'm guessing a fully opt. Dark Horse after dealer mark up will be close to 100k what do you think? Sorry so long but I'm freaking out right now, trust me I'm sure we're in the same boat right now. I'm going for it tomorrow. Let me know what you did. I want that thing in my garage this week!!!LOL

If you look at some of my other videos, you will see that I already have a 2016 Mustang GT and some other cars. I did a lot of thinking about this one. I already have two cars in my garage and I don't want them outside. The Mach1 would be in the driveway with a cover on it. I can't spend $70k on a car and see it sitting outside. I can't give up my Mustang and $40k in cash, it would be a bad idea right now. The economy is trash right and everyday things cost twice as much as they should. Life is really expensive and I don't see it getting better anytime soon. As much as I would love to add this amazing Mustang to my collection, I sadly have to sit this one out.
These are nice cars, but just to much money.
I agree, it’s a lot for a Mustang. I don’t want to give my Mustang and pay $40k especially now that interest rates are higher.

Get it dude, I had a gt350 previous to my 22 specked out the same way as this one except the power seats and fighter jet grey.I enjoy it more then the Shelby and it’s by far the nicest car I’ve ever driven
If you really feel it 🤷🏼♂️ buy it!! Lol. Idea 💡 trade the mustang and the subie or the mustang and the VW ?? They are not making the mach1 anymore!! In a way ur right the Mach is more mustang than anyone needs. The gt 500 is over kill. Lol. Have the dealership show you some numbers 😉

As much as I wanted to, 70k out the door for a Mustang was just too much. I would have needed to spend another $1200 on tires better for daily driving. I’m seeing these preowned 10k below MSRP. When they drop more I might consider getting one.
Go for it, my wife and I bought a USED 22 Fighter Jet Gray HP edition at the end of October, saved some money and got a hell of a car.

We had a 16 Mustang GT, great car and hated to let it go at just a little over 35k on the odometer but it worked out well, got a fair, not great or horrible. trade in value for it...
I can't wait for our South Dakota winter to be over with so I can enjoy the Mach1...but those Cup2's gotta go...lol
I have a '21 FJG Mach 1 HP/Tremec/Leather Recaro (essentially the car you are looking at) and don't regret it one bit. Most expensive car (and first new car) I've ever bought on my 47 years on this planet.
Did you get the front camber plates and front fender rock guards before you drove it home or did you have to get those from Ford after? This car is missing those handling package add ons.
@@CarStory I actually flew from DC up to NH to get mine (I was late to the game on the '21 and just got it this May) and didn't get to inspect it until I was there, but they had everything installed already (Gurney flap in the trunk).
Regarding the car in the video, I noticed the dealer didn't put the front chin spoiler on as well, but that's not all that uncommon as some people don't want the rock guards or chin spoiler installed right away. If you get the Cup 2s off, you won't throw rocks like crazy and may prefer not having the rock guards on.
It's rough they bumped up the MSRP on the '22s. While it might not be this specific Mach 1, there's a decent chance you might be able to get a deal on a new one in a few month. With the way the economy is headed, people will adjust their spending and new car prices (at this price point) should start to come down a bit as people will be less likely to throw big money at a car that gets worse gas mileage than the F-150.

I had to bring my Bronco to the dealer today and the Mach1 is still there. It's been there two months now. I spoke with the salesperson I normally deal with and told him to ask the manager if he wants to talk about making a deal on it. I looked under the hood and the camber plates are not installed and the plastic front wheel well trim is missing. I told them those parts are part of the handling package and need to come with the car. I got to sit in it and absolutely love it. Tires have to be replaced with a better tire for street use and the stripes need PPF to protect them so it's an expensive car to own. We might be talking. about it Friday.

That car sat for three months and it had to be reduced by $2250 before it would sell. I couldn’t afford nearly $70k with tax and title.
@@CarStory same here but there are alot of rice burners that cost close to that ya know.the mustang Wil be worth more of n resale then a rice rocket all day.
