I MAKE A Fairway Finding MONSTER! NEVER SLICE DRIVER AGAIN

  • I make a fairway finding monster driver, that you can have too! I customise my driver and you can to by follow some simple steps. We all say buying new golf clubs can help you hit the golf ball longer and straighter but in the world of modern adjustable drivers can just making a few modifications in driver loft, Driver shaft length and moving the centre of gravity of the golf club help you hit he golf ball longer and straighter??
    So do Adjustable Drivers HONESTLY Work?! We can move the weight on the driver from front to back and sometimes even make them DRAW or FADE too by adjusting the weights. But does this actually work? Should you get fitted for a driver? getting fitted for new golf clubs is always a huge advantage to make sure you end up buying the best golf clubs. The best golf clubs of 2021, the best golf clubs for you the longest driver for you or even just the longest driver of 2021
    In the search for extra yards from the tee you have been making the huge mistake of making your driver less forgiving by adjusting it too much! Adjusting the driver loft and centre of gravity with the weights can have an impact on how forgiving and accurate your driver is as well as that an effect on how far your driver goes!
    I am using the Cobra RADspeed 2021 driver!

    43 inches used to be the standard length of driver in 1980's
    Same as a 3 wood now.
    Lot of people would get the same distance out of a 43 inch driver because they could swing harder at the ball and still get it on the centre of the face.

    Hi Alex, another awesome tip, with a bit of science to back it up. I’m now going to experiment with some tape on my driver. To be honest, I’ve always been a bit sceptical about modifying what the manufacturers provide you with. However, this does make sense and is at least worth trying at a range. 👍😎🇦🇺

    Well done Alex, a great explanation of what could be done to help all who slice, a few options worth exploring in order to get that drive more consistently on the fairway. Happy to give up some distance if the the driver shot dispersions becomes narrower. Off the fairway is a score killer.

    I’m a senior golfer who has tried the lead tape and it doesn’t work for me, so the driver stays in the garage. I can consistently hit my 5 wood 200 yards in the short grass. My question to you, do I keep trying to hit driver or keep the 5 wood? Pick me!

    Hi Alex, this isn’t related to this video however would you be able to do one about the science behind all the different wedges (or if you have already please send me the link). As this question is something I hear lots of people I play with constantly argue about. “What influence does the variations to how the face is made and the influence of the bounce numbers”. I am also looking at buying two new wedges and would personally (as I’m sure others will) on your advice for what each do and what type of face/bounce considerations would help the various level of handicap golfers. This is by a very long way my favourite channel so please keep up the great work you do. 👍😎🇦🇺

    My local course has 90% of its hazards on the right side, so I'm looking to make a draw machine club. Something that's near impossible to fade or slice.
    Not sure if it's gonna be a second driver or a 5 wood yet. Ideally it would be a wood, but I gather it'll be easier with the driver because of the size of the head.

    I've been gaming the Titleist 915 D3 for around 7 years and it has a overall length of 45" which is 1/2" to 3/4" shorter than the current drivers.

    I don't know about the UK market but Graphite Shafts are ridiculously expensive in the States. Therefore, I would suggest that Slicers choke down on their Driver's and experiment with adding inexpensive Lead Tape to the heel of the club as you suggested. If you can't find Lead Tape in a golf store you will find it wherever they sell tennis racquets in your area. Some manufacturers don't mark the degrees of their heads higher than 10.5 degrees. They mark it High Loft (HL) instead. By the way, Dustin Johnson used a 10.5 Degree Driver when he first came out on tour and Freddie "Boom Boom" Couples used a High Lofted (10.5 + degrees) Driver Head designed for a Woman for years when he was the Longest Driver on the PGA Tour! Higher Lofted Driver's are simply easier to Hit Straight. This was a Fantastic Topic! Thanks from Houston, Texas ✌

    Adjusting the hosel to a higher loft setting also closes the club face.

  • @goofygolfer56
    @goofygolfer56 2 года назад

    Alex, just one brief critique,… you should have prefaced your video with something to the affect of: “adjustments to the hosil, weighting and adding lead tape does not replace the results of a professional fitting”. In my (humble) opinion, any golfer shelling out $300 to $600 for a premium driver (or fairway wood) is simply wasting their money if they don’t get that club fitted by a professional. A professional fitting will determine loft, weighting, shaft length/flex and toe/heel weighting adjustments to the player. The fitting may also determine if it’s really a lesson that is needed to correct a slice.
