We wanted a New RV, but got an Old Ambulance…

If you’re wondering how or why we ended up with an old ambulance, then you’re in the right place! This video tells that story, and it actually starts at the Tampa RV Super Show.
The RV show was an event we were waiting for for a long time, and we thought after attending, our life would start to transition towards a life on the road. Unfortunately we did not leave there with any sort of clarity or direction.
Somewhere over the course of a few weeks, we saw a RUclips video of a converted ambulance and thought it was really cool. Somehow I ended up on Craigslist where I saw a similar ambulance listed for very cheap, and the rest was history as they say.

It’s 2WD? How does it do in snow and off-roading ?

It’s RWD. We do our best to avoid snow, but it does great with light off-road trails. It’s gotten us to 95% of the spots we’ve sought out, but there’s def some room for improvements and even a 4x4 conversion in the future.
