Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has introduced a secret code feature for Chat Lock on WhatsApp, adding an additional layer of privacy for millions of users to protect sensitive chats on the platform. Once a code is created, it can be used to hide the locked chats so that they only appear when typed into the search bar.
“Rolling out secret code to Chat Lock on WhatsApp so you can protect your chats with a unique password. Now you can set your locked chats to only appear when you type the secret code in the search bar, so no one can unintentionally discover your most private conversations,” Zuckerberg said in a blog post.

I am a beta tester and I don't see the three little dots to configure and add a secret code to chats on Android, in the end this function is useless because it is the same as archiving the chat. What's the point of fearing a chat blocked from view?
