Paul, this old retired farm boy from south east Iowa really enjoys watching you redo those Jeep Cherokees plus your Toyota,! Between you and Matt I’m so impressed what you guys are doing and am looking for a older Cherokee sport to make into a real machine and back in 1979 my son and I ordered two CJ7s with hard tops and canvas top for a total $15:000 for the pair. I drove mine to Ouray CO seven years in a row and keep a map so I could run all the trails in Silverton, telluride, Durango, ouray. After watching you and Matt I’m really interested in coming out to your area after I get a Cherokee to tow with my Toyota pickup. You are the best fab guy I have ever seen and keep up the good work.

Others have commented here that you need to use safety glasses and may I add my name to the list? I know someone who was permanently blinded because he didn't like to use them, so he didn't. From personal experience I can tell you that they may be inconvenient, bothersome and a general PITA at times, but they have saved me a few times from grindings and things flung into my face, aka broken nails and wood splinters. A little hint: squinting is not a substitute. My 2 cents. Please be safe!

Damn you Paul....it's so hard NOT to admire you and to hold you in the highest esteem, but @0:50 you made me so fearful when you used that cut-off tool without any safety glasses. I would hate to see you hurt your eyes and not be able to continue this jaw dropping, monumental work you do. Please, please at the risk of sounding like a pansy or whatever, please protect your person.....you owe it to Michelle, your great kids and to some extent, the rest of your viewers. We would be(I'd be too), inconsolable should you suffer an "accident"....selfish, yes, but we need you with all your faculties and appendages intact, doing what you do, and only a select FEW like you do, and do so well. The FACT that people are willing to drive 10-12 hours one way, across state lines, just to have the benefit and pleasure of having you work on their machines means something, everything to all of us. Ok, rant over, I loved the vid, but then you knew I would. I love your ingenuity, your inventive nature to turn junk into very, very useful junk, but mostly the camaraderie and community you engage with and are involved in. Respect! So much respect!

ALWAYS wear safety glasses when working around mechanical cutting, gas cutting welding or drilling in the shop or out. 40 some years ago while working with an electrically hot wire, it touched a ground and splattered my glasses with melted copper drops on the lens of my safety glasses. My company's safety glasses policy saved my eyes. I was trying to work by myself at night. No one was around to enforce the safety rules, but I was still wearing them. Thank goodness I was. Wear safety glasses to protect your family's future, if not for yourself.
