We gave him wasabi instead and warned him not to put in too much. He bravely said he is used to spicy stuff and took a generous amount. We burst out laughing when he grimaced and teared up in shock of what hit him. Wasabi may not be spicy hot but it packs a punch in your senses.

Who are you to call them a, what, coconut (?) for that? You're not even making sense just making yourself look stupid. Does everyone like reading books? No. Does everyone like eating certain things? No. People come in all forms and it's silly if you make fun of them for being different.

    In India it depends which state and cuisine centric culture you hail from. One of my staff members - usually his home made food has 5 times more chilli and masala on an average (he hails from Bihar). Then I have a business friend who hails from Andhra...they again have a crazy super spicy/ chilli eating food culture. In the state of Rajasthan again they eat tons of chillies like a piece of cake. Down south they have the Chettinad cuisine which is super intense on black pepper (that's where black pepper originates from) and in the seven sister states (North east) they eat one of the hottest chillies in the world (ghost chilli / bhut johlakia) regularly as part of their diet and the list goes on.... However they are plenty of North and South Indian states that eat a well balanced and not too overly spicy diet.

    Being from NE India, bhoot jalokia aka ghost chilli is considered less hot then 'King chilli' of nagaland even though they look similar its the climate they're grown from. We always have a chutney of King chilli along with our food, I believe I can win this challenge easily.

  • @alexarmanto6016
    @alexarmanto6016 3 года назад +1

    techincally we have more 'masala' or spices in our cuisine, so often its mistaken for spicy and hot? like vada pau (Mumbai street food, a veg patty with a kind of paste sandwiched between two buns) is spicy but stuff like kausha mangsho (mutton curry, bengali style) is usually just 'masaledaar' or high in spice. i don't think this is the best example but yeah, most of our food just has a lot of different spices rather than just straight out chilli. in fact, most of the time our food doesn't have chillis. people just drop in a whole green or dried red chilli in sometimes in case someone wants and just for that little flavour.
