Another helpful video Andrew 👍🏻hope you had a good Christmas and new year,I’ve had my heart operation so now recovering to get my butt into gear in the hope of finding something in the mining industry, keep up with the good videos Andrew 👍🏻👍🏻
This is awesome information. I used to work in the mines as security about 20 years ago in Port Hedland. My no BS question to you is, can I get an entry level job in the mines as a 50 year old healthy guy? I don't want to waste anyone's time if it's unlikely. I know it's a young bucks game in general but it was an industry that I really enjoyed being around in. Thanks.
@@kaaawakiwi no mate, as long as you can show them that you know how it all works. You're more than in the age range that they'll give you a shot. We just had a guy (3 months ago) in his mid-60s get a job, if you go and have a look at the video on Snatch-it season which we did a couple of months ago. You'll see the comments that he left about himself getting a job using the DIY package Hope that information helps
Are there any health issues that you have to warry about when working in the mining industry. Breathing stuff in or getting toxic stuff on your skin? ETC.
@@LH-mx1tx no. Not in the gold and copper mines where all the jobs are going at the moment Some mines come with challenges that they use PPE to address but all the Hardrock mines have ventilation systems that have to turn the air over in the mine every 20 to 40 minutes because of the mine's regulations in each state It's gone from being one of the most dangerous industries that you can work in 30 years ago to now where you've got more chance of getting hurt on the surface than you do in the underground workspace Hope that answers your question
@@Bipinkumarsingh-xc4qv There are mines over there that pay Jumbo operators big money if they know what they're doing You're wasting your time trying to get into Australia to be a jumbo operator. No company is going to hire an overseas worker to use a jumbo, not when it's the Australian operators that set this standard around the world You should look for a job in Africa. There's lots of big paying jumbo operator jobs going over there and if you know what you're doing you shouldn't have a problem getting one How long have you been on the jumbo for?
Happy new year sir thank you so much am I'm learning a lot from the tips that you always share with me in your videos😊
