Great course... and so it should be at £155 for 18 holes! That's a heap of cash for a round of golf! Would be good to see you openly tell people what the standard green fees are at each course before you tee off and then offer a value for money rating after you've played it....
dude not so perfect Agreed! Personally I struggle to see more than £50 in a round of golf, and then it has to be somewhere I really want to play. Three figure green fees are just obscene (when compared to the cost of other leisure pursuits) and one of the main reasons the game is in decline.
Ashley Young Even £50 for a round is still very expensive. You can play decent courses for under £40 per round. £150 is three weeks worth of food shopping for most people! lol
I guess Im randomly asking but does anyone know a method to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost my account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me!
@Uriel Avi thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Anyone watching this in quarantine while drooling over their irons which have been employed for living room chipping duties. Any Canadians here should look into what petitions are going around their cities to open the courses during quarantine. In Calgary we’re almost at 50,000 signatures and getting ready to send it off! Happy trails fellow duffers
Rick is so good at thinking and explaining, he can't play, and Pete is so good at playing, he can't explain it. I love both of you, but the more rick focuses on succeeding at teaching and explaining, the harder it is to focus on his personal game.
Would it not be better to have strokeplay 'matches' so you get used to scoring low for the open qualifying? Matchplay disguises if you have a particularly bad hole for example
Oh I'm not doubting that at all, it's just that keeping a score going over a full round or 9 holes is different from hole by hole if that makes sense? Great to watch anyway!
I agree with Fabian and Pete. I don't mind the match play set up but I think maybe do strokes along with. From what I have seen the last few vlogs, Rick has to find that confidence in his chipping again and Pete's game has really improved over the last few months. I just think maybe keeping strokes too can really show the progress.
That is a very valid and great point. Having that pressure to make that birdie or eagle, to me, would only serve them better when it is time for the real thing at the Open qualifying.
Ahhh, Megan Fox....I like to think about the 1st transformers movie and was like Whoa!!! I actually agree with you, the videos are so much fun to watch and the product testing is really cool too. I have actually played with 2 web.com pros before and it really is a different game for them. One of them actually averaged 312 off the tee but hardly made a cut. Great guys, they said it is so hard out there and they are on the minor circuit. After watching and playing with them, it really comes down to the short game and putting because they can all hit it well. Without that, it is more less a pipe dream in some regards.
Interesting to see the Green Course and how it compares to the Red and Blue Courses. I have played St George's Hill a couple of times albeit many years ago but have never played the Green..... Great Video by the way!!!
In which case I will make a guess and give you the win.... Short game magic!!!! Just needed to pop down the round to Golf Bidder and get that Mizuno wedge back!!!! 😀
love watching you two battle it out...I do enjoy the banter...can you guys pickup some clip on mics? very difficult to hear when you're away from the camera. cheers!
Pete, I can't get over how different you look with glasses vs. without. I think the first video I watched with Rick and you was your challenge match in Las Vegas. The next video I saw was you and Rick playing with Carly. In Las Vegas you had a beard and weren't wearing glasses. Against Carly, you were sans beard and were wearing glasses. It actually took me several videos to realize that you were the same person in each of those videos. It goes to show that Clark Kent's glasses disguise might actually work.
Just a suggestion Pete... On that par 3 you said you struggle on those type of lies on hills. I found best to actually stand wider than a normal Chip shot. I have extremely broad shoulders and it helps balance me better. I've noticed it's made my shots dramatically more consistent.
I don't think you need to speed up the videos. I like seeing hearing the banter at the original pace. It seems more authentic IMO. People can just advance 10 sec on RUclips by tapping twice on the right side of the screen.
This course looks really nice!! Great camera resolution!! These videos are totally getting me in the mood to get out there and play!! Definitely one of the next days off I will be playing golf!!
Hi Rick I have a drill that I use for may students that stops them from sliding under the ball as you just did on the first hole of this video. it's called the coin drill where you place a coin about 4" in front of your club face, now take your normal chip swing with the goal of moving the coin. This will create a swing bottom that is farther out in front of the ball and stop you from sliding under the ball. Hope this help you as it does my students !
At 7:40 on the Par 3, Peter said : - I just don't want to hit it LEFT... How often it happened to you.?. The last word you say, that's where the ball is going... I think I have read about this in « Zen Golf » by Dr. Joseph Parent.
Rick, I notice you are just sneaking onto the outside of your right foot in the backswing (one of my own deadly sins). That is going to make consistency in path and swing bottom difficult, maybe think about keeping your weight on the inside of your right foot going back. (Sorry Pete, I know it is not his channel)
4:25 Rick's chip. Nothing worse in the game of golf than a flubbed chip! NOTHING! It doesn't happen often but man what a punch to the testicles when it does.
Why do you only play match play? On the first hole, Rick could have made a 6 and been 3 back instead of 1-down. Match play is not a good way to prepare for stroke play events. Good content though.
I'm from Texas and after watching so many of your videos I'm saying, "to be fair", a lot now lol
Haha. I say "Proper Golf," to my wife all the time now too! I'm from California.
Gilberto Ayala or petes signature "OH MY WORD"
Gilberto Ayala I'm a Texan too and been saying it too haha
Scotty doesn'tKNOW
lol sweet. I've been saying proper too. Gotta love these guys
Which part of Texas are you from?

Strongly second this! :)
Ashley Young £155? No round of golf is worth that amount of money. Totally agree with your comment
dude not so perfect Agreed! Personally I struggle to see more than £50 in a round of golf, and then it has to be somewhere I really want to play. Three figure green fees are just obscene (when compared to the cost of other leisure pursuits) and one of the main reasons the game is in decline.
Ashley Young na that's ridiculously expensive
Ashley Young Even £50 for a round is still very expensive. You can play decent courses for under £40 per round. £150 is three weeks worth of food shopping for most people! lol
Watching in 2023. Peter was so slim! But weren’t we all? I was. I miss it. Great golf guys.
your two got the life! Teaching and playing golf there's nothing better.
filming it :)
So crazy to see how far you guys have come with your channels. So awesome.
you two guys are amazing. We look, we learn , we laugh. Thanks for all of that guys
cheers bud
I started playing and watching about 6 months ago. Watch u and Pete all the time and u both helped me a lot thanks
Two good mates playing a quirky course. Great fun.
Thumbs up if you much prefer proper 18 holes matches compared to these 9 hole matches
I guess Im randomly asking but does anyone know a method to log back into an Instagram account?
I somehow lost my account password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me!
@Joseph Zayd Instablaster =)
@Uriel Avi thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site through google and im in the hacking process now.
Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
@Uriel Avi it worked and I actually got access to my account again. Im so happy:D
Thanks so much you really help me out!
@Joseph Zayd glad I could help =)
I played St George’s Hill last year. Stunning course and clubhouse

Thank you guys for putting the best golf content on RUclips
cheers bud, thanks for watching :)
Would it not be better to have strokeplay 'matches' so you get used to scoring low for the open qualifying? Matchplay disguises if you have a particularly bad hole for example
Fabian Whitaker 🤔disguises...we film every hole :)
Oh I'm not doubting that at all, it's just that keeping a score going over a full round or 9 holes is different from hole by hole if that makes sense? Great to watch anyway!

You 2 guys are really fun to watch
Interesting to see the Green Course and how it compares to the Red and Blue Courses. I have played St George's Hill a couple of times albeit many years ago but have never played the Green..... Great Video by the way!!!
The green course is shorter and tighter and trickier
In which case I will make a guess and give you the win.... Short game magic!!!! Just needed to pop down the round to Golf Bidder and get that Mizuno wedge back!!!! 😀
Your game is looking on point here Pete, keep it up the Open is calling 😀 good luck
cheers Gary

New cameras? Video is sooo much clearer! Great work!
I miss these videos 🙌🏻 can't beat a sheils vs finch vlog 💯

cheers Braden

Even with the swing changes the prettiest one of the tube, Pete.

It's now late Oct 2018, I came back here because I'm missing this old format course vlog with both of you.
This course looks really nice!! Great camera resolution!! These videos are totally getting me in the mood to get out there and play!! Definitely one of the next days off I will be playing golf!!
Liking the club face control preshot routine thing you do Pete.
wish it would work all the time :) cheers bud
Damn Pete, I have already forgotten the spectacles. I'll bet you dont miss them, do you?
Love the videos. Keep up the great work.
cheers Brandon
Well played Pete, and nice vlogging too mate. The quality of yours and Rick's video's are getting better all the time.
cheers Alan

Great Brave drive Pete!
Stunning hole guys well Rick suits you as natural federal of the golf ball
Yall should do a video with Nadeshot, hes getting into golf, and a shoutout from him will go a long way.
Very different target audiences though, that's the only problem.
Chris Banks also nadeshot is a prick
Hi Pete, on the 2nd hole, were you aware that you feet set-up was little to the left of the flag? Is an open stance a standard set-up for you.
parallel left generally
I love no gimmes, the only exception is if the flight behind us has caught up and waiting.
congrats on 100k subs :)
thanks bud
Are those Arccos sensors on your clubs? Do you share your rounds? it would be great if we (as fans) could play virtual rounds vs you and Rick
The dragon fires back!!

Great Vid Pete!!
cheers bud

Hunter Claxon cheers bud
What putter does rick have in this video?
Fun vlog, Pete! But I cringed hearing, "You don't want to miss left here." I think this 9 is all Pete's dragon.
Pete who carries the camera equipment when ya'll walk? Just curious how that works haha
it's tiring but no too heavy
Peter, what shaft is in your 3 iron?
Hzrdus
Peter Finch Golf just curious why you prefer that to steel in your long iron. Better launch?
Hello Rick !
where are you doing the open qualifying at?
Peter A not got confirmation through yet but either West Lancs or Fairhaven
Awhile back I heard mention of West Lancs.
Dang, this rick dude is good, he should have a channel
Rick, the TM Spider out of the bag already??
Hello Peter !
Good luck in the open qualifying
thanks Jenky
Love these vids guys, keep them coming!! #pureswings #200k #hofer
cheers Mike
Who's the member who gets them in here? Couldn't tell...
Enter the Dragon :) Oh, and don't eat the rhododendrons ... they are poisonous.
no miss
Rick, I notice you are just sneaking onto the outside of your right foot in the backswing (one of my own deadly sins). Brown & orange! Are you playing Q's on the seniors open rick :)
Were ye using the arccos system here Pete?!
Mark Sheehan nope not here, I've only used it once so far
Roughly how far do you guys hit each club. Just trying to compare myself to professionals
9:25 "Round and circle shape" - Rick Shiels
I would love to know who the member is that they are talking about! Must be a pro or a celeb!
No salt given, because Peter ;3
How are those FJ Pro S/L's treating you, Pete?
Morten Frølich yep awesome
Peter Finch Golf Tell Rick Nikes' are over played
I think Peter has always been betta. Boom yeah
Great vid ;)
And rick has a golf channel??
Don't worry Rick, I'm plenty high enough for the both of us
4:25 Rick's chip. Nothing worse in the game of golf than a flubbed chip! NOTHING! It doesn't happen often but man what a punch to the testicles when it does.
What is the meaning of shiddlyer?
I will back you in this nine Pete!
Charles henry Smith 😂 keep watching
these are the type of players that koepka is talking about
How do you mean?
whats happening to the no gimmies?
can somebody tell me what the painted dots are on the driver face of Pete's driver?
Schwang17 It's for his launch monitor measuring the face angles and other bits
for GC2 HMT
So are they stickers or what is the white stuff? haha
Wish you guys played the other 9 too, is a lot nicer!
S.lboro I'm sure we'll head back there
Come play Richmond
bring back shot tracer😉
ur a good youtuber
JasonWoolf Vlogs thanks
Peter Finch Golf u hit 100k well done man
Love the golf but do we need to see Rick putting his glove on?
Don't either of you get mad when you hit a shit shot? Love your attitude toward adversity guys.
nah well sometimes but you've got to enjoy the walk haven't you
Hmmm "very round in circle shape" please explain
you are amazing pete. (first)
Rick, my grandfather told me long ago, when you look up you see some terrible shots, even in chipping
What does that rick play off
At 9:00 I can hear what sounds like the echoes of little children. Creepy as fuck
Why dont you treat yourself to a course planner instead of having to guess where your going? Just a suggestion lol
Why do you only play match play? On the first hole, Rick could have made a 6 and been 3 back instead of 1-down. Match play is not a good way to prepare for stroke play events. Good content though.

Nothing more irritating than having your playing partner waiting 230 yards, waiting for his playing partner to hit his shot, then he puts on his glove
£155 for a round of golf that’s obscene! if you a four ball 620 you could all go away for weekend inc accomadation and golf for that🏌🏻♀️🏌🏻♀️
... to be fair.
I'd winged it..
Yeah, he pinned this comment.
Are you a fan of any football club? Go Chelsea!
Pro’s don’t think so boys 🙈🙈
Covid anyone?
I mean u and rick sorry
