I love the Volvik vivid ball, great for tracking to watch in the air and I have definitely noticed myself driving them farther.
They definately golf long as hell. I just can't get any spin on them around the green. This of course may be more a problem with me than the ball.

Occasionally the foursome I play with will all play one of the various colors of these Vivid golf balls and it's kind of funny. They look like Easter eggs in the fairway. They feel a tad hard off the driver face but not Top Flight hard. Not too much spin around the green but I'm an 11 handicap so it doesn't bother me too much. I've played all the colors but in order of preference I like...
1) VIVID PINK
2) VIVID YELLOW
3) VIVID GREEN
Avoid the red, they're nutty. They'll give you vertigo looking at them and they're very difficult to track as they fly through the air.

9:28 my driver did that on 4 holes. I couldn't figure it out. I got on the tee box on nmbr 10, leaned over to tee up my ball and as I leaned, the head fell off my driver. Problem figured out.

Nice video guys. I believe that you should do a proper stroke play no gimmes match at a tough course to actually get you ready for open qualifying. Nice video though.

I'm not as big of a fan of the Vivid's... but I do like Volvik's S3's and Vibe balls... Good stuff.
The S3 and S4 balls, people complain a lot about durability. How do you find them? I really need to pick up a sleeve of 3 just to test for myself

Will you do a review of the Volvik ball? And would that include "is it easy to find"? Because it seems to me that some colors are hard to find. Or am I old fashioned by thinking that nothing beats a white ball?
Dream Killer aka me crouching at work today and ripping the ass out of my trousers at 9am.
I really like the Vivid balls. I've been using the red ones for a few weeks now; they are great to see through the air but not so easy to see down. However, much easier to find in semi rough than white ones. Not true of full -on rough though as I've lost 2 in three weeks! Do you think it's possible that they carry further than Pro Vs as I certainly seem to have increased my distances since using them?
Pete uses the same grip style I do for putting.
