I know NOTHING about fixing cars. But because of this video, I found the root of the problem, got a battery main fuse, and I FIXED the problem for less than $15! I am so grateful for this video, and I feel very proud of myself. Thank you!
This video was absolutely on point. I replaced my alternator and had no power. I was fearing I had blown something major. After watching this, I checked the batt main fuse and found it bad. Replaced and works great. LIFESAVER!. Another video directed me to look on the side of the glovebox for the radio code.
@@CoachKFixeditTv I did the same thing you did in your video and for some reason, that same fuse keeps blowing up. I have replace the started and the positive cable wire as well. What else do you think I should be looking at? Thank you in advance
You da man! This video just helped me and my wife get home after the car did not start in a grocery store parking lot! It helped me to go through checking voltage and sure enough I only had 2V where the main connector is at the fuse box. I did not see any noticeable corrosion, but as soon as I moved the positive post cable on the battery I heard the door chime! Crazy, it had given no issues and we cut it off to go in the store for 15 mins. and when we came out it would not do anything, dead as a hammer! I keep a jumpstart and DMM with me. The jumpstart made no difference so when I checked Voltage I had 12.4V. it was this video that lead me to check at the fuse box. I really did not know where to check first! From one RUclipsr to another... Thanks and God Bless!
You saved my butt with this video! My son accidentally crossed wires when jumping his car and we couldn't figure out why it wouldn't start after replacing the battery. You solved it for me, we got a new fuse and voila! Car is running again! Thank you SO much!
Thanks for this video. I got a new battery with the post switched around with caused me to hook up the battery wrong. I watched this video and found it was a popped battery main fuse. I called the dealer and he wanted $40 for that part. I got a ride to the salvage yard and pulled out 2 of those main fuses, inspected them and paid $5 for the two. Returned and installed one and the car started but now I have a parasidic draw somehow.
Hoping this is the cause. My wife’s 2009 Accord I4 had exactly same symptoms. Shop just called up and said battery and alternator were OK, so they were starting diagnostics. Relayed info to shop, will let you know what they find. Thanks again. This should be a life saver. Jim Freeman, Cary NC
My 2008 Honda Accord recently had a alternator replacement and worked fine but after a while when I try to start it , it doesn’t turn on , it cranks but when I press the gas it will sometimes start , now it’s completely dead I heard it was the starter but I’m not sure. I also heard it could be a short, need a opinion
Okay I need help with a 2008 Honda Accord. It first started fine and then the radio will flicker on and off. And then sometimes it turned off. And each time I turned it on I had to input a code for my radio as if it restarted. It turns on but at times will turn off. And I got it scanned and then ever since that sometimes I try to turn it on nothing will happen. The lights will turn on but very dim. And I cleaned the battery from the acid and replaced the main power relay. And it worked fine and I thought I fixed it but now it’s doing it all over again
Sounds like your having voltage drop! This could be from your battery on its way out. If you’re local to a autozone or advanced auto parts they can test it for you. Let me know how it goes.
Got a euro Civic Type R 2008. Car has full battery power but absolutely nothing happens when I try to start the engine, all electrics on and working but doesn’t even try to start, then I get (pgm-fi) displaying on on the dash screen, is this usually the fuel relay needing replacing ? Thanks
I have a 07 Honda Accord battery light came on and now it won’t crank or start just dead tested the battery and charged it still no crank or start haven’t tested the alternator yet to see if that’s the problem

Have you tried ruling out your starter first?
@@CoachKFixeditTv yeah bump started fine, turned out to be a loose starter relay behind the push starter button on the dash 👍🏻
I checked my battery fuse and it’s fine. Car still does a no power/crank or start. My battery is brand new. What else could be a problem?
I’ve changed the main fuse on a ‘09 Honda accord ex-l and there’s still no power.
You have a volt meter?
@@CoachKFixeditTv yes I do
@@icefire2007 test both ends of the fuse while the battery is connected tell me what you get.

Okay I have a 2008 Honda accord it won’t crank I’ve replaced alternator , new battery , fuel pump , & crank shaft sensor what could it be?
Starter

I have a 2012 honda accord se and although i still get power when the key is in i cant start the car , could it possibly be a main relay problem ??
What’s the symptoms ? Any cranking? Or sounds from the starter at all?
@@CoachKFixeditTv it gives off this clicking sound from the hood
But lights ,radio, windows, ac, all works and if i hold the key in start for too long it starts this electrical cranking sound
@@ossandopouponneau9137 did you ever get this resolved. Sounds like what I am running into.
@@penisinvegina it was the starter ended up changing it myself , if so youll need some power tools
Why would my honda 2008 not start normal but when fuel is poured in the injector it starts but misfires
Same thing is happening to my 2002 Honda accord. No crank no start no power.
I changed that and still have the same problem what else could it be brother
No crank no start no power?
@@CoachKFixeditTv yes no crank or start and I put the bigger battery and new alternator smh

Do you ever see the green key fault on these Honda's? Car has power but won't turn over, then after you take the key out, the green key flashes
Sounds like the key is not programed
@@marybrown8749 it ended up being the starter.

I’m having the same issue with my 2016 Honda Accord sport new battery new alternator it will run , but it’ll die can it be my fuse ??
Haven’t explored that particular model with this issue as of yet. Is it just cutting off after idle for a few minutes?
