I really like this Kong. The color, the face, it is a great figure from Neca.
I got this KK in Universal's IoA after riding the attraction june of this year. I had to get it as i don't wanna miss the opportunity on just buying it on the spot instead of ordering it online. To me it was a good experience as i remembered my uncle getting me a souvenir from the old Kongfrontation gift shop back in 2000. Getting kong at Universal is like a tradition. :D
If getting kong is a tradition, how long has it gone on for? How many Kongs do you have?
@@TyePansa 4. 2 from USH and the other 2 from USO, of which 1 was from Kongfrontation, the last 1 from IoA.
Now the one from USH. The 1st one if you can consider the backlot tour of the old kong experience (b4 it burned down). The 2nd was just a PJ KK I have found in CityWalk. Also why do you want to know?

This was due to licensing which is why they didn't add accessories from the original movie. NECA said this figure was their version from that movie but not an exact copy of it.
@connextro I was referring to the actress as an accessory plus NECA wanted to keep cost down which is why it cost 22 to 23 dollars. An Empire state building made in to scale to Kong, even if it was just the top of the building, would make the price increase alot.
@connextro and yes the empire state building isn't owned by the studio who made King Kong. It's owned by NY and you have to still get a license agreement to use its image. It's on their website, esbnyc.com

Love this guy- I like how they included the sculpt of which I assume is the 1933 head- a part of me wishes it was closer scaled to their Godzillas, but I do like how this Kong is big and chunky.
The head is a mixture of the 33 and 76 kong head

They really do send you the best versions of each figure. I watched the ghostface review and my ghostface’s legs are warped, and my Kong’s paint is just one big black while yours has browns and reds
This may very well be the best King Kong figure that NECA has crafted so far. I really like both head sculpts, especially the one with the angry facial expression. The fur has been nicely sculpted, painted and detailed. As great as the figure is, it would've been nice if it had been included with some more accessories, specifically an Empire State Building, which would've suited King Kong perfectly. There is a great amount of articulation as well. This is a solid figure release on the part of NECA. Otherwise, thanks again Spot. I really appreciate it. Keep it up!

Rewatched the 2005 movie I’m honour of this figure, much better than I remembered!
This King Kong figure could be in my top five for 2020. Really well done. I prefer the not so wide mouth sculpt. Would love a black and white version.

got this yesterday for my birthday. i would love a B/W 30's kong from neca lets hope they make one. also would love a accessories pack later down the line. maybe a t-rex skull, a hand with ann in it and another with a crushed plane in it, an alter-heads/ one rested face and one with more scratches/blood

Awesome fig..got one.as well..i just wish Neca would have included a base with at the least top half of the Empire State Building and an Ann fig for his hand..Hoping Neca releases a black and white version as well as other incarnations 62..68 and 76 would be great 😁

I've actually found Kong's feet to be of a shape that makes for good balancing for one-legged poses. Nice tight joints help with that too. I also love the ratcheted hip joints, from a tactile point of view, they're fun to move and make a real satisfying noise.
The feet joints are tight and I'm afraid that I'll break it, is it normal?
@@metroplier8392 I'd say it's pretty typical of NECA product in general, as many others say, if you're worried about breaking them, heat em up before trying, I go with microwaving some water in a measuring cup for 2 minutes, then putting the figure feet first in the water. Let it warm up, dry off then try moving them

Hello. In this Neca King Kong figure the roaring head...when i put it on the Figure. The head doesn't stay on the body if i turn the roaring head right or left the head falls off. Do you know if this type of Nail Polish would hold the roaring head on the body with the ball joint ?? Of this Neca King Kong figure ?? Will this type of Nail Polish work on it ?? ---->>>

This is a cool looking figure I put it on my bday list I’m thinking about using him as just a regular gorilla in my stop motions and I’ll maybe use him as gorilla grodd
I found this guy under the target shelves in the Pool area. I saw three empty shelves so I looked under one there was a bunch of toys under there. There were transformers, wwe elites, marvel legends, power rangers lightning collection, and neca King Kong and I took him

i got mine at walmart and the box was busted like ripped open so i didn’t keep the box
After seeing the amount of detail that went into that hair sculpt work.. I can’t help but wonder what a Neca werewolf would look like. American Werewolf in London, Annabelle Comes Home, Trick r Treat.. plenty of possibilities

I have the island one. I had this one too but i sold him because something was jigling inside his body but i preordered him again because i missed him. Theese too are my favourite of the four figures. The concrete one is identical to the island figure so i don't think i'm going to get him. Also i'm afraid of breaking the plane like you did. Finaly the ilustrated one has his charm but to have all four of them is too much for me. So i will stick to this one and the island versions.
I got mine at a planet Overstock for 20 bucks and it's pretty good in my opinion
They also missed an opportunity to have the movie poster design as the box art. I still wanna pick this figure up.

If it's based on the movie, which is still copyrighted they should've included elements from the movie
