I'm sure schools only ever want to teach us division and that everyone has always hated each other based on race etc obviously there has been some periods of this with odd groups but on the whole I think we have all just got along lived along side each other as humans.
I definitely want him to do more of these as you say the kids need to see it too. 👌👌

The Henry the Eighth trumpet guy was called John White and was taught to play trumpet when he arrived from Spain, A trumpet then was not convoluted or with keys and played a single note
The Windrush ship company wanted to fill it's empty cabin holds for return from Jamaica (admittedly typically British greed), so offered widely-advertised cheap cabins to the intreprid. No-one was called to duty.
The Egyptians did not have contact with Sub-Saharan Africans.
No slave servants in UK ever. There were enough dirt poor here already. UK never had slaves. UK Navy was sent out to eliminate that trade
I would think majorly from a moral objection from the electorate but also with a view to curbing American power.
Anyway i could go on all night

Akala! A long time ago, probably about 10 years now, sent a message for you to come to LA. I'm no longer in LA, but anywhere in the states, and I'll go. These days, I more than understand any apprehension involving that type of trip, what with our national intelect breaking new basements every day.
I thought I'd take a moment however, to say you are such a welcome water to the everspreading wildfire of anti-intellectualism. Your music is so thoroughly efficient at introducing and engaging necessary and thought-provoking concepts. It was obvious 10 years ago, and this newer style of content makes it even more obvious that your truest passion is education. Actual education. Your work is truly admirable. Live long, and spread your knowledge wide my friend. Thank you Akala

It was funny when the narrator broke into the French pronounciation of French names...well, great read! Fascinating, a war hero, an aristocrat, and covers a lot of ground! Someone ought to make the movie!

1:30 onwards is so important to understand. British history HAS to include the African states that were a part of the British Empire. Similar to how many Americans ignore the West African element of the founding of the United States. It's INTEGRAL.

@Jon Doe No one is discounting the Arab slave trade, they are next on the chopping block, we have to take it one step at a time. You would know this if you were in certain "circles" of information. You "wypipull" like to deflect, deny and denounce but we won't allow that to happen. Cheers🍸

    • @craigscott2315
      @craigscott2315 4 года назад +1

@@thesoulbrother8636 it wasn't uncommon for cultures in the past to sacrifice teenagers and children during times of famine. It gave the child a chance where they other wise wouldn't have had one. Different time different context. Modern sex trade is based on slavery, so should probably focus more intently on that.
That is what the whole story of abraham not sacrificing his son is all about leading to the collapse of a civilization and them becoming slaves in egypt!

@Jon Doe if you have black skin you should see a doctor and get the gangrene treated. If white you need blood and might not make the next ten minuets. Black and white are not colors! I was actually born on the african continent. And know the story of old zimbabwe. Currently i live 7 mile from where Dr Livingston grew up. This area is the reason the romans built a second wall further south.
Three mile away the Bruce smashed an army ten times the size of his. And is where the Cameronians come from. Not neglecting the covenanters. Go for a stroll through glasgow, and don't mention what football team, especially what religion you follow.

I don't doubt there were black people scattered throughout Britain before the 40s, but the truth is Britain was basically the definition of an ethnostate until the 60s. Non-white population would have been no higher than about 0.3% of the country, as video footage of places like London shows us pre-that time. What's happened over the past few decades is absolutely unheard-of in human history and it's probably going to end in tears. No sane person would advocate doing what has been done if they didn't want to see cahos.

@Jon Doe Wow thank you for sending! I am american and admittedly agree that we talk (A LOT) about European slave but don't dive into Arab! The part about how there is no space to honor the port of passage for victims of the Arab slave trade hurt my heart. For my personal beliefs (and this was mentioned in the comments of the vid) but agree when it mentioned the nations deal craftily with us lest we multiply. Also reminded me how we were sold and forced to worship in wood and stone...this the stone part. The dragon will always make war with the male child where ever he is. This is shown through Egyptian captivity, European captivity, and watching this vid Arab (castrating). Excited to get the books in this vid and also continue to learn about the Arab slave trade. Thanks again for sharing!

Have you heard of a historian called Simon Webb, he just seems to be just interested in destroying Black history, the only reason I mention it is because people are taking him seriously.

My history Teacher told me l was just a Slave at 11 . I went through my whole teenage yrs thinking this . It wasn’t until l was 18 l found a black history section in HANDWORTH LIBRARY Yeap l big you up . I turned into Matilda that day . I have read and have so many black history books . I am a Teacher but l am ashamed of my curriculum leaders who are still stuck in the woods and won’t change the narrative still telling our children we were slaves and only have three black leaders Martin, Malcolm and Rosa . I ask my students to please go on the internet and find new leaders l haven’t heard of and because black history is divinity they come back and each one has written something on someone l don’t know . Black history will NEVER end like l said it’s DIVINITY XXX Go and look read my students it’s out there talk to you grandparents because when a elder dies a library is burnt to the ground.

JJ Billings Hi l teach all subjects . I am a Special needs and behaviour Teacher . I work at a pru centre now a pupil referral unit were they send all the black teenagers because the can’t handle them . They are bored we teach them a trade like car mechanics and computer technology and how to fix and repair things decorating ect . Some of our students are not academic by boy oh boy they can use their hands x . There is nothing stopping you from teaching go into schools volunteer or go on a Teacher training course you can do whatever you want to do . There is a course called ptlls you don’t need no degree and this will allow you to teach students post 16 in college. Go for it x
