I had the mk11 fiesta xr2 in silver and I absolutely loved it. Defo one of the best cars I ever owned apart from my very first car I got given from my uncle when I past my test which was a mk4 cortina 2.0 Ghia estate in metallic racing green with black vinyl roof, the fun I had in that as a young lad!!!🤫
There used to be 2 red Supersports on my paper round, I always loved those more than the XR2. I had a 78 Mk1 later, a 1.1L it was so economical to run, £10 filled the tank 😳 I also had a blue 02 plate Zetec S, nice to look at but a harsh engine to rev even slightly.
Great video! But That’s not true about the mk6 being a mk5 The (mk4 facelift) is a mk5 according to Ford. How come the zetec s before your one wasn’t included in this video? :/
Have had a fiesta for ther last 20 years. The mark 5 is possibly the most boring looking car IMO. The mark 6 was a staggering design mic drop though. Last 15 yrs it's been a gorgeous looking machine. Thanks Max. Also... #WOOF 🔥

In 1982 I passed my driving test at 17 in my dad’s 1.1S fiesta in signal yellow

Thank you! In terms of different MK’s. Across Europe it’s Mk1-7 but uk it’s 1-8 there’s no definite answer!
