Well said on all accounts Cammy!! The grind to Not Forgotten is not so much about getting the weapon, but rather a journey to improve your gun skill and mindset to continuously learn from mistakes mastering the game a little bit more each time!
Just got my Luna yesterday(did everything solo). I got the headshots with West of Sunfall 7. I believe anyone can get this hand cannon as long as you’re willing to improve rather than quit. I started out a 0.83 K.D. before Forsaken. I’m now a 1.13 due to practice and persistence. You can do it!
I was literally on your channel looking at your builds and whatnot because I finished a few Comp matches and felt burnt out and then 2 minutes later you upload this, the timing, my god Cammy lol.
I've been solo queueing for a while now. And I've admittedly learned a lot from this. One decision I had to make early on is why I was going for Luna's/Not Forgotten. And like you said, the endgame in pvp is ALWAYS a challenge and it's something I enjoy more than ever now. I've learned a lot from your videos, and I'm very happy about that. One thing in learning from these videos, is just because it isn't meta, doesn't mean you shouldn't try to understand it. Everyone wants to know what the right move is, the best load out, etc. But watching Cammy I've learned to TRY different set ups, to understand why it doesn't work well for me, and recognize flaws in why I should have slid into the engagement instead of jumping. Why I should have saved my class ability to use it in a more advantageous way. So far my favorite comp load out has been a Duke, Fighting Lion, and either Terran Wind, or a sword.
Tbh the tip where you add players that you mesh well with is the best tip in this video. I have not forgotten, but I wouldn’t have gotten it if I hadn’t been previously adding players that were good at the game and being nice to people and making friends.
As I was nearing the end of my luna'S howl journey, I rewatched this video. Multiple times to remind me of the mistakes I'm making, and the mindset I should have. Just wanted to say thanks for making this video. It was an invaluable resource of encouragement and knowledge.
From the very, very bottom of my heart, I want to thank you. For context, I obtained my Luna’s Howl earlier Sunday morning. After six or seven long months dodging 4 stacks, wining one then losing one over and over again, and wanting to give up entirely, I finally got it. You have no idea how much of a help you were. I’m 14, and I’ve poured a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this. Literally. I at one point felt so hopeless playing this game, I actually cried. I felt like I couldn’t do anything. I was going through a rough patch, and earning four points after 35 minutes wasn’t helping. I had seen most of your content, but I’d never subbed to your channel. Today, that changes. I may not be as good as you, and I might not reach you with this, but that doesn’t matter. What matters is that you believed in me- believed in us. You helped me believe in myself. I can’t thank you enough for that. You’re who I look up too, in a sense. I’m not sure what it feels like to know you’re helping people you don’t know. But I want you to know you are. You did. I sat there, watching your broadsword/claymore commentary. You said you understood why broadsword would be earned through quick play. That, if you did get the claymore, you would be special. But it wasn’t the commentary that changed my thinking. It was the music. That track made me sad. Because I knew I couldn’t get it. But you said I could. So I tried. Failed. But I didn’t let that stop me. I continued to watch your videos. But every now and then I’d come back to hear that track. I thought it was hopeless. But still, team after team, match after match, day in day out. Until I got broadsword, and today, Luna. Sorry for the encyclopedia of words. But if you need proof that you’re a huge influence to some people, there’s a 14 year old kid who is willing to support you. Hope I can be as good as you someday.
Don’t normally watch your videos, it came up on recommended but I loved this video! Great tips and really useful yet different help from a new perspective loved it!!
Just today I was getting tilted out of my mind solo queuing Comp for a few hours. Doing the stuff you said, blaming teammates, playing teams of 4 and bitching about it, but what infuriated me most was about 2 hours into my session, I played against one player who had not forgotten, (meaning they had hit 5500) whilst I am only at 1200. I got pretty salty pretty quick. After that (surprisingly close considering), I decided to play just one more game. I was alt tabbed whilst queuing, and tabbed back into the game as we spawned, only to find that I had been left by the fireteam of three I was meant to play with against a firrteam of four. Yes, 1v4 from the start. I then proceeded to have the most fun game of Comp I've ever had, dancing and messing around with the 4 stack for 10 minutes until the game ended. It was fucking sick, and really lifted my spirits.
I had to come back to this video, and share my experience, only because I adore cammy, and have no friends to share my excitement with :') I finally got Lunas Howl and The Recluse solo yesterday, on warlock.
The Luna’s quest has been amazing to me and has rejuvenated my love for PvP. It only gets frustrating with the fabled rank step if you’re running solo. Cammy’s tips are gold. You have to be prepared but it’s totally doable.

I would like to share some of my experience to give some people an idea for console players.
