bmw x5 cooling system bleeding

I have a problem with the expansion tank not draining when I am draining the system. I had a previous problem with oil getting into the coolant through bad gaskets in the oil cooler. That has now been fixed and am attempting to flush the system to remove any residual oil. Any suggestion?

Just start the car and let temperture getting hot and drain the water on radiator and expation tank

Mine is 2013 X5 xdrive50i the pump is manual how to bleed coolant in that now?

So it takes 12 minutes to bleed the X5 system. If so, I will connect the battery charger if you mean one to two minutes then I won’t connect the battery charger.

No just only ignition key on but better put a battery charger on a battery so the battery will getting week it will take 12 min it will be on the key
