I actually really like Baku too! He's adorable and really deserves more attention and love! ^^ I'm surprised he can put up with Kuromi's temper and how often she hits him. He really is a great friend!
there's a episode of Onegai My Melody where Baku leaves Kuromi due to a mix her physically abusing him and her reading his diary which contains what he calls his Baku Notes. he stays with My Melody and her human friends while Kuromi tries to get him home. Baku tells Kuromi he would if only Kuromi be a little nicer like My Melody though when she tries to, it comes off as creepy rather than cute. one dream door which alters her personality in the process later, and they are back together cause Baku prefers the Kuromi he knew than the one that acts like My Melody.
It’s a looong story. So Baku’s parents come from different towns or smt as female and male tapirs come from different areas. So after his parents got married, he was his mother’s firstborn so his Mother gave birth to him in her hometown instead of his fathers hometown and the dialect in his mothers hometown is “zona” while the dialect in his fathers hometown is “ppe”. His other siblings were born in his fathers hometown Hope this helped
extra fun fact! baku's full name is bakuichirou. his younger brothers names are essentially just adding onto that. for example, his youngest brother is bakujuuichirou.

I do a lot of shopping on the Sanrio website (though they usually sell out of plushies very quickly u_u), Amazon, Ebay, and aliexpress. Of course on the last three you have to be very careful since people will scam with fakes, so always triple check the reviews they have and make sure they seem legitimate! I've had some luck with older plushies on Yahoo! JP auctions/shopping, but those you probably need a proxy for so it's a little more complicated. Most of my plushies are from either Sanrio directly or Amazon personally. :D 2. Yes! You got the first part of this so very wrong that I am positive you never actually watched the series despite having clips of it in this video. They do not "grant dreams and then corrupt them"-- the grant very selfish wishes which sometimes causes them to turn out in an unexpectedly negative way and My Melody is tasked with seeing that the person realizes their wishes were selfish and deciding to hope for something better than they used to. But if the person is satisfied with their selfish wish coming true, then Kuromi wins.
