I’ve been using them senkos ALOT. Especially now that I’ve started river fishing. Being up north, the smallies are still chasing the fluke. River/Creek fishing has rebirthed the excitement and have me a new perspective on fishing.
Im in Georgia.. I fish lake Sinclair, blackshear, flint river, oconee river, Ocmulgee river all the time.. my and my fishing buddies (I think you know a couple of them... Jason Starley, Jonathan Langford, Corey Richardson, and Justyn Olsen) need to make a trip over near you and try your waters... Great video Chad.. (sorry about the name droppin. lol)
Great stuff as always. You have a lot of stuff on your plate with KBF, during the off season (if there is such a thing for you?) a few videos to keep us Northern folk entertained (hard water) would be appreciated. Thanks again for All that you do for the sport and KBF. Fish On!
yep this cool spell has awaken the creek , water below 90 whew hoo . successful 60 plus lb bass day , few gators and the epic 7 ft gar ride in the yak. and didn't get my chemo pump wet this time .
I use black about 95% of the time since it contrast the best in most situations and every now an again I will go to white/more of a shad imitating color.
Thanks Chad! I almost feel like an insider, having learned that loop knot from you in person, then seeing you post it in some following videos! ;) Do you have a 'standard' go-to for your main line for these setups?
Yes. I usually run 30# braid for the most part and go up to 40# for punching mats and 50# for early season and late season frog fishing when I just tie braid directly to the frog with no leader.
Sorry Chad ,but please use Stanley Double Take hooks for the Ribbit frogs. Thicker coverage use the weighted hooks. I'm no expert, I just hate to see you lose fish. Trust me, I lost my share this year from poor hook set from wacky or flopped off the board. Keep the awesome video content!
The Double Hooks are a nightmare in duckweed. They also don’t have a better hookup ratio in general unless you are fishing open water. The double hooks work really well with the Top Toad, but not with the Ribbits
@ChadHooverFishing Yes kinda agree with you on that. Just bought some of those Mustad hooks with the keepers. They work great with Yamamoto Yamatanuki. Thank you. Lost a 3lber by my seat about the same area of a lake that Wendell has been hitting donkeys in NE Ohio ( VMC wacky hooks)
Don’t buy any of them. They only work about eleven and a half months out of the year, six and a half days a week, about fifty weeks a year and most days they only work about twenty to twenty two hours.
Dude, that over the shoulder shot of you setting the hook at 12:43 epic, Thanks for bringing us along for the trip.
Thanks Ruben
This is great content!!
Thank you
Great stuff 🎣
Thanks 👍
That kayak is nice. You killed it man. Exceptional video!
Thank you sir!👊🏽
Love the videos, keep them coming
Thanks, will do!
Badass video !!! One song I catch myself using is another one bites the dust 😆
Right there with you!! Thanks for watching

Awesome Chad! Can the KBF give some 10 inchers some love next year?
100% - We have actually partnered with a company to do a BIG BASS and Bitsy Bass promotion and the Bitsy Bass is going to be fish ONLY under 12”
@@ChadHooverFishing are you messing with me again?

Very enjoyable video. I would like to see you fish more tournaments. Is there a specific color frog that works better on Guntersville?

I have in the past and will be again in the very near future
Great video! Thanks for the info. I'm going to try some of these techniques here in NJ. Quick question, Chad: what size net are you using?
Thanks Chad!

Wish I could have fished
How did you finish in the Derby?
3rd. I would have gotten second if I didn’t fail to submit one of my fish 🤦🏻
You’re still in for the finals! Way to go

Noted, I will *not be buying the entire collection of yamacraw
Glad I was able to help you not waste your hard earned money;)

@@ChadHooverFishing dude you need to create a knock off brand of them and put this on the back of the bag with no other information.
Backwards. 🤣🤣🤣
Gotta throw some extra juice for y’all that stay till the end!🙏🏽
