This is a wonderful demonstration show of handmade candy from the candy shop "PAPA BUBBLE".
A colorful apple candy work that looks very delicious has been completed.

Umm kinda need heat resistant gloves for this, those gloves could melt into the candy. Ive seen other candy melting places in Japan and other countries and this one is the first to do it wrong, not to mention a few other things theyve done wrong too :/

Is this candy hard like a rock or is it crunchy so you can crack it with teeth?
I believe it's hard taffy, given how they pull it on the hook like that
@@Darasilverdragon I'm sure it's not like this. It's sugar candy which is chewy when hot, but when it comes to the room temperature it becomes hard like a rock. But using hook produced bubbles inside sugar so that's why it became more white-ish and has gotten bigger. I wonder if that made it less hard to crack with teeth.
When it’s hot you can move it and pull it like on the hook to add air inside it- just like you would taffy and it looks similar - but this is ‘hard candy’ which is like a lollipop 🍭 when it is completely cool - that would be, by the time they are cutting those long canes into bite size pieces. So, you could crunch them with your teeth or suck on them but it’s considered ‘hard candy’ - not taffy.
Really the only difference between all candy - save a few ingredients- is the temperature you bring it to- you have to bring hard candy to a very high temperature (hard ball stage) without burning it. It’s not easy to do and I can’t tell you how many batches I burned when I was learning as it’s literally a couple seconds difference. But divinity, caramel, taffy, toffee are all just different temps and they’re not that far apart. Candy making can be really fun and you can make lollipops along with most other candies in your own kitchen- just not these giant picture rolls! Respect to these candy makers!
