Price is not too restrictive for my current financial situation. But it is too much duplication. By the end of 12 months you will get 15-20 knives, multiple fire starting kits, multiple torches, battery banks, odd food snack. There is occasional cool piece of gear that one can purchase separately. There boxes are mostly for collectors. What outdoor person does not already have a filter or compass..
Man, I have completely forgot about the existence of Batllbox for the longest time.
I've always chose to choose my own specific gear, Vietnam veteran here, rather than a box of mixed stuff that I won't use and be stuck with. Call me rational or practical, or whatever you want. I don't like wasting money on useless stuff.

Not a big fan of battlebox and if I’m going to spend my money on gear I’m doing research on certain items then buying it. The Grayl is definitely one of the best ways to purify water for on the go and should be in everybody’s preps. The other one is Befree which is another good one for on the go but weighs less than the Grayl. As for affordable and well made knives checkout Blackscout Survival and they just came out with a new one for EDC.👍🏼🍻
Wish I could get decent boxes like yours here in Canada. But the moment xborder shipping is involved the price becomes unfeasible.
